The place itself is great- very spacious, clean, and modern! The host, Manuela, was also very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

The place is beautiful and central to a lot of sites and restaurants. The host was super helpful and spent time explaining what’s around and where we should go to enjoy the most of Catania.

Manuela‘s place could not be more perfect. It is located within minutes walking of everything in old town Catania. It is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, spacious, welcoming, and cozy. Although the street below is busy, you can close the balcony doors at night, closing off the light and noise of the street, and it is quiet as can be. In the morning Manuela is there too greet you with a wonderful breakfast spread. The table looks beautiful, her dishes and glasses are available for you to use if you come back with leftovers or want a glass of wine in the evening — coffee or tea is always available as well. When we first arrived, the outside of the building was a bit concerning, but once through the doors, it was just gorgeous. All of old town Catania has quite a bit of graffiti and looks a bit concerning when we are not used to it. (Manuela had asked for our flight information) As soon as we landed at the airport she messaged me to help me get a ride to her place. When we got to the door, she was waiting for us, saw us on her video survalence, messaged us, and let us in. From there, she kept messaging until we were in our room, comfortable, and knew our way around. The next morning we met her in person, and she was every bit as helpful in person as she had been by messaging. If we messaged her, she answered immediately. She truly looked after us, to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect in every way. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and we very much enjoyed meeting Manuela. There’s a fabulous pizza and pasta shop right underneath her Airbnb — we loved that as well. She cleaned and cared for our room every day, so everything was fresh and tidy. We were able to do our wash in the sink and dry it on our travel line on the balcony. In every way, this was the perfect place for us to stay.

Breakfast was wonderful. The host was warm, friendly and extremely helpful.

The hotel room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is also great—close to the city center, and within walking distance of both the bus stop and the train station. Manuela is always kind and provides a lot of helpful information. Perhaps because I stayed during Easter, there were occasionally loud performances from the neighboring venue between 9 p.m. ~11 p.m. It was quite noisy during that time, but it became quiet after 11 p.m. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The beds were comfortable. Hostess was great. We enjoyed the breakfast and the location. We had rooms 1,2,3. They are all quite spacious. In room 2 there was a sewage smell.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was absolutely excellent—very clean, comfortable, and beautifully arranged, making it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a real highlight with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. A special thank you to the host, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her warm attitude made us feel genuinely welcome. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! -
