Armisi B&B

Close to Catania central railroad station. I take train to Taormina and take 15 minutes walk to downtown of Catania. And takes $24 taxi to the airport. Neighborhood is not good, in a non-activity small alley. But I know it from Google satellite map advance, So there is no surprise to me. It is hard to find nice eating places.

The room was so bright and spacious, and very spacious. The patio was a treat. My hostess was delightful. Very close to the bus station. Am torn as the proximity to the bus station was great, but it would have been nice to have been more central.

We stayed just one night at Armisi on our way from Naples to Syracruse. Maria, the host was absolutely delightful and the accommodation which we chose because it was close to the train station was spotless, comfortable and just what we needed. It is within walking distance of the Duoma and the centre of town and had a private balcony to enjoy an evening drink or a sunny breakfast, which we did. I can't fault the accommodation or Maria and we chose this apartment because of it's closeness to the train station but if we were staying longer I think I would have liked to have stayed in a different part of Catania, closer to the centre of town.

Very Clean and comfortable stay with excellent communication from our host and a warm welcome. Super convenient for a 2 minute walk to the station.

The room was very clean and gorgeous.Big and comfortable bed, very beautiful bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with everything and the host was very polite about using some of the things. The location is great very close to the center and the port. The hostess was kind and very sweet

The apartment was a 3 minute walk from the train station and Maria was very eager to provide useful information. Newly renovated and very clean. The kitchen was shared with 2 other rooms. Any information we needed, Maria was there to help and provide and was often cleaning the kitchen and our dishes. Very kind. The old city was a 10 minute walk away. Although well equipped , no staple ingredients are provided other than salt and sugar. It’s always nice to find pepper and olive oil in a kitchen unit and spray for the frying pan….just cooking basics would be appreciated . Also, the parking offered was 15$eu and there was no fruit upon arrival, like advertised. The neighborhood was quiet although close to everything but it was a bit sketchy. We never walked at night.

Clean and comfortable room. Easy access. Very close to the train station. In writing, the tone of our host was not friendly at all when we exchanged messages prior to our arrival (and that is not due to language issues, an Italian friend of ours also found the tone surprising). But she turned out to be nice once we actually got to meet her. The soundproofing between rooms could be a bit better, not a big issue though.

Perfect location - a 5 minute walk from Catania Centrale . The room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The shared kitchen was excellent and well organized. Our host was very welcoming. A great place to stay in Catania.

Very convenient for public transport to the airport and easy walk to the historic centre. Extremely helpful lady to check us in. The room had everything you needed for a good night's stay.

The property itself was quite good and well-maintained from inside, but the surrounding area felt unsafe and not suitable for families. The property was great, but the location felt unsafe. The nearby area seemed poor and dirty, and when we walked outside, we encountered what appeared to be a red-light district, making it uncomfortable for a decent family/couple to stay.
