All great!

This hotel is the most unique, special place I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything was exceptional. Georgio, who checked us in was full of useful information. Jorji at the Rooftop bar was great and made us wonderful cocktails. There is nothing that I could suggest which should be improved at this incredible hotel.

Beautiful art filled hotel, perfectly located.

Absolutely stunning, art gallery in a palace, what’s not to love… The breakfast experience was beautiful That I couldn’t live there permanently

The hotel was more of an experience than a typical stay. Art everywhere, and a layout that was more than unique. The staff was terrific and they even upgraded us to a suite with a balcony that looked over the square. It was our last night of a long vacation and it could not have ended better. The shower was the most complicated piece of plumbing I have evere seen. We never did get hot water out of it.

Our overnight stay at Asmundo di Gisira was nothing short of extraordinary—easily one of the most unforgettable travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we had stepped into a living work of art. The hotel, set within a beautifully restored historic palace, is a masterpiece in itself—every room, corridor, and ceiling adorned with stunning, thoughtfully curated artwork that seamlessly blends classical grandeur with bold, contemporary creativity. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an immersive artistic experience. Our room was breathtaking—elegant, unique, and filled with character, yet supremely comfortable. Every detail felt intentional and luxurious. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the service. It was, without exaggeration, the best we have ever experienced. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate, the staff made us feel not just welcomed, but celebrated as guests. Their care and pride in the property elevated an already spectacular setting into something truly magical. If you’re visiting Catania, do not miss the chance to stay here. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime. Nothing to report

Beautiful, clean, elegant. Room service supplied an Aperol. Breakfast was lovely Paying for Nescafé coffee pods in the room seemed an overreach. Most places supply tea/coffee in the rooms. The toilet ran after flushing

Thé location was excellent for restaurants, strolling, visiting the Fish Market and the bus stop for our bus to Ragusa. The staff was very helpful - arranged our early morning taxi to the airport for our departure, gave us a tour of the artwork in the hotel. And the breakfasts were exceptional - many choices. Not having a bathroom door in our suite on the 4th floor seemed odd, and the low ceilings in the other room we stayed in on the 4th floor (our 2nd visit) was a bit scary for tall people (like we are.) We were afraid of hitting our heads.

Artistic presentation, attentive staff. Artistic venues can sometimes be a little impractical. Water was never hot, no tea kettle in room and tub and shower function was a little above my area of expertise.

The staff wend above and beyond to helpful accommodating Highly recommended!
