B&b Scirocco d'Africa

Location was about 15-20 min walk to descent restaurants.

It was spacious and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. There was a bit of street noise all night.

The hospitality from Miria and Cristina was magnificent! Perfect! So clean! Huge breakfast, wonderful communication on where you go and what to do. Didn't want to leave :) real legends of Catania!

We had a fantastic stay at Scirocco D'Africa! Our hosts Miriam and Cristina are absoulte gems! They prepared delicious, hearty breakfasts to keep us going all day and gave us innumerable local advice of what to see and do in Catania! The B&B is kept immaculately clean and the beds are very comfortable! It is located in a very strategic location just outside the busy Catania centre, yet close to the promenade and excellent restaurant frequented by locals. Highly recommended! Everything was perfect!

As for Sicily, this was an unique experience of exceptional hospitality of the owner. Very clean!

Extremely clean. Hosts were very kind. Excellent breakfast. Shower/bathroom was clean and tidy.

Everything was fine and the Hosts were very helpful. A kettle and some teabags in the room could help.

Miriam was a fantastic host and prepared a superb breakfast.

In Greece we say that people make the difference. Myriam and Cristina are the best hostesses we have ever met by far, all these years that we travel. We can not thank them enough for their hospitality and professionalism. Actually, the way that they run their business is the reason that everyone should choose this apartment in Catania. Room and bathroom are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean . Air conditioner working properly. We did not mind the distance from the city centre, since we had a car and it was quite easy to find a parking lot nearby. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of our stay : it was the best breakfast served through "breakfast included" rooms, in our whole journey in Sicily. We ate eggs in breakfast after one week. It also included a variety of local delicacies savory and sweet, as well as yoghurt, fruits, juices e.t.c. Overall it was a WORTH REMEMBERING accommodation. Keep up the good work!!! Wish you all the best!!! Nothing to dislike.

Our host Miria was amazing. She provided all the information about activities near Catania. She also prepared delicious breakfast. Beds are very comfortable and the accomodation is good to stay for a couple of days. The neighbourhood was full of trash all around the street, just like in the city center.

Accommodating staff, sandwiches for early check out, help with parking spot and dinner recommendation.

The host, Miriam is exceptionally caring and nice, the best host l have ever met.The accomodation and the service were excellent. The parking situ can be tricky in front of the property.

I would like to thank Miriam for her hospitality, she is great person, really helpful and open. Gave us good tips and where to eat like 'locals'. Room is really spacious, bathroom well equipped. Both were cleaned every day, towels changed as well. Air conditioner working properly. Breakfast delicious, tipical sicilian sweet but with additional of meats and cheese. We can drink juice and water that were available in fridge, everytime we wanted. Highly recommended to stay in Catania !
