Clean, very nice, good value, great service, very attentive

I was staying in the "Etna" room: kingsize bed in a decent-sized room with a very spacious bathroom. Everything was brand-new and clean. Except for Sunday, breakfast was in the nearby RAB Cafe, which provided a coffee and a croissant with filling of your choice. On Sunday, breakfast was foreseen in the hotel. In both cases, breakfast was fulfilling for me. Checking-in experience was a bit weird. Unlike a normal hotel, there is nobody present at the check-in desk at all times. Upon arriving, you must call the owner, in addition to the online check-in, which wasn't clear in the instructions.

The room was very clean, modern. It’s close to the metro station, but you also can walk to via Etnea - about 10min. The host is very responsive, check in was very easy. I’d recommend getting breakfast from a local pastry/coffee shop rather than the one suggested at the place - there was pastry only from supermarket, that was not good. But 1 day breakfast was included in a cafe nearby - it was good

The location was very ok, but the noise from the common room from which you enter any other room was very disturbing. Breakfast is zero, you better take it out. Rather than giving a coffee and a single croissant, it is better to eliminate it altogether.

Very nice location, the apartment is very clean and luxurious, the bed and pillows are excellent. The airco is very loud even at the lowest setting. It does have a silent option but can only be activated by admin( advice for the host to look into this). The kitchen misses knives of any type, which makes it difficult to have a quick bite when needed. We could not manage getting a coffee out of the machine in the kitchen either, but maybe it was us. And the big fridge in the kitchen was not turned on. We didn't need it but in case the small minibar in the room is not enough, the one in the kitchen would be very handy. It would be nice to clarify in the description that the breakfast is not served in the facility itself but at a nearby cafeteria. It consists of a drink(coffee/juice) and a pastry item. For some it might not be enough...

There is a probability that we were late for the breakfast and that is the reason we only found a few things there which I would not call breakfast, especially if things are happening in Sicily. We ended up having breakfast somewhere else, though we booked thinking it would be comfortable to have breakfast in the hotel and then hit the road, but the breakfast was very bad. The only thing that was there to eat and wasn't cheap dry pastry in plastic wrapping was cereal, but I think the quality was quite bad because it felt like eating paper.

The room and common areas were really clean, bright and contemporary. The air-condition was effective and silent which is a bonus. The coffee machine was hugely appreciated! It was 30min walk to the centre of the old town which I didn’t quite expect. The walk isn’t particularly pleasant either. But, I guess there is a metro stop within 50m so not a massive concern.

Very comfortable and clean room, nice staff. Convenient location, not far from the center.

THE LOCATION BUT IT WAS EASY GETTING AROUND

Everything was great, rooms were very cleaned and very comfortable. The person in charge was very nice and easy to reach. Only two things, It doesn't have a safe & Breakfast isn't in the hotel but that's it.
