Comfortable, relaxing, air conditioning during a heat wave, priceless

We stayed at Hotel Villa Provençale and we were impressed by its authentic charm and peaceful atmosphere. Just a short walk from the beach and the center of Cavalaire-sur-Mer, the hotel offers a perfect blend of Provençal elegance and coastal relaxation. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, with a lush Mediterranean garden that creates a serene setting for breakfast or dinner. The room we stayed in was a little too small but fully equipped, comfortable, and very clean. One of the highlights was the garden. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The size of our room was a little too small

The location was as expected and the appearance of the hotel was stylish and had a local character. The garden was an elegant place to take breakfast. We were told on arrival that Booking.com guests have to pay for breakfast. We tried it on the first morning but the coffee and pastries were not worth E12 per person so, after that we went out to breakfast. The dinner was top quality cuisine at £36 pp but to a set menu, with no choices, served in a rather soulless dining room. It was not always available so we usually ate out. No refrigerator in the room was disappointing given the the local summer climate.

An overnight stay in a lovely quiet Provençal style hotel. The room was cosy and comfortable. A treat being served breakfast in the garden. The staff were very friendly. Nothing

Very friendly host & staff. Very dog friendly. Helpful with tourist information. Lovely traditional decor.

Everything was good

Would definitely recommend to stay here and we will definitely come back next time we are here! Everything was great, there is nothing bad I can say. May be if you want a place by the sea, this hotel is a bit further away, but it's very crowded by the sea, so was a perfect place for us. Great place to get away from busy life.

We really appreciated the complimentary parking, the location, and the extra-friendly staff who were very accommodating to us and our small dog, who did bark a little during our stay. The room was equipped with a lovely balcony and air conditioning, and it was just a mile away from the city centre. We were disappointed with the breakfast. We only received a cup of coffee, some bread, a bit of marmalade, and a couple of slices of cheese and ham. We felt that the breakfast was overpriced and not up to the standard of other places we've visited along the coast. Additionally, although we knew the room would be small, it was even smaller than we expected. The bathroom could accommodate only one person at a time, and the toilet room was extremely cramped.

Exceptional

Super nice hotel in provencal style. The room was super large and even had a terrace. We received a very friendly welcome and were even able to charge our electric car for free. The location is also super central but still quiet. Within 10 minutes you are down at the port.

Peaceful spot, away from the busy areas, very kind host. The room and bed sizes, but we knew that in advance.

Loved the breakfast in the garden. Loved tha balcony with views of nature. They accepted also my large breed dog which is always a plus. NA

This is a gorgeous historic villa. The staff went out of their way to be helpful to me and my elderly friend. The breakfast is a delight taken leisurely in the garden, and the three course dinners are delicious with exceptional fresh local ingredients bought daily. Ivana leads a super team. Nothing, it’s lovely and I’d happily stay again

Wonderful find. Zero complaints and only compliments. People are lovely and hotel is a great place to stay. Good bed, good linen, good bathroom and good towels. Zero

The place seemed empty. The room was ok. very clean, but like a cave without windows. except one in the bathroom where the staff smoked cigarettes.
-
Great old charm villa close to the center of town. Very quiet neighborhood, perfect sleep. Parking on site. Rooms clean and great airco. It’s all a bit dated, but cleaning and maintenance is great so no problem at all!

It was very beautiful and had nice and friendly staff. The neighbourhood was calm and the location good. The room was small but okay for a few days stay. We had a really neat balcony! The parking lot was also good and around a 13 minute walk downtown/the beach. The bed was kind of hard/stiff and breakfast was really nice but a bit pricey for what you were given to eat.
