Doubletree by Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex

The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel was beautiful and clean in a great area. The beds were super comfortable and had a great night’s sleep.

Couldn’t even use the pool because a baseball conference was there and kids were everywhere splashing and screaming. Not one spot in the pool for my family . If there is something like this going on, other guests should be told ahead of time so guests can book elsewhere and enjoy their stay.

Bathroom was too small for a room at that price. Staff was excellent.

De’ondre at the front desk went above and beyond in hospitality. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean, and property quiet, despite it being right down town. It was in walking proximity to many restaurants as well as having good food in house. The AC was not quite dependable, with the temp fluctuating but that’s our only complaint.

Service and food at the restaurant/bar were excellent. Room was very nice. Check in was not welcoming. Housecleaning did not clean our room. A loud train came by twice very early in the morning. More coffee should be made and ready in the morning.

I paid a lot for the upgrade, but still got stuck in a handicapped room with the weird wheel chair shower. I called the front desk and was told it’s all they had, which means they gave the room I booked to someone else? Pretty frustrating. Overall his hotel seems over priced or what it is. Nothing fancy. Not horrible either though. We will not stay here again.

Everybody at the property was very helpful. The food was delicious and the drink specials or awesome as well. Attended a venue there so it was very convenient and there's also a cool bar across the street in the alley.

Wonderful hotel. Nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Parking was easy and it was great to be able to walk over to the concert venue. Great pizza place a couple blocks away.

The only negative is the loud street however the hotel provides ear plugs and a sound machine.

Convenient, clean and great restaurant

The parking situation is horrendous. You have to park in a ramp across a busy four lane street and then walk back to the hotel. Not user friendly at all, especially if you have mobility problems.
