Hotel Leonardo
About Hotel Leonardo
Located in the center of pretty Český Krumlov, this hotel is close to the central square and ten minutes from the impressive Krumlov Castle. This newly re-built hotel was first built in the 16th century, and its history suits that of the rest of this historic town. Various architectural styles are visible in the interiors, including Renaissance wooden ceilings and a baroque staircase. You will find plenty of things to do here; be content walking through the pleasant winding streets which have served as film sets for many movies. Alternatively, visit galleries, museums or see the Castle and its theater. This well placed hotel provides an ideal location from which to discover this memorable and picturesque town. Location, staff, room, breakfast, welcome: all were utterly perfect. Nothing.

+ Location; + Nice old building; + Big room, a bathtube, good lighting, a safe, a fridge; - Very separate building ~100m from the reception desk (which is in an another hotel); - There is the same 100m to the breakfast: small, pretty poor, served in a tiny (but stylish) cafe with impolite staff (tho they seemed to be more polite to german-speaking relics from other tables); - But there is a massage studio in building with their reception desk, posters and flyers all over the entrance, so you just wonder if that is the correct place; - No drinking water in the room: - Room description is somehow optimistic (for example the "view" was a narrow, dull inner yard with a scrappy building);
-
There is no elevator.

Breakfast was quite poor and slow and insufficient service
-
Room temperature too warm. Because of loud music hall nearby, we hestitated opening windows.

Room was good and location was excellent being right in old town.

Big room. Good breakfest. Good location The hotel consists of two separate buildings. The 'Deluxe Room' shown on Booking.com includes images of a room with a rooftop terrace or balcony, which was a key reason we chose this hotel—especially as smokers who value outdoor space. However, the room we received was different, without any terrace, even though it was also labeled as a 'Deluxe Room'. We believe the booking process should clearly indicate which specific room you're getting, as this detail significantly impacted our choice.

Historic building in great location

My room Had no windows No windows
-
Location No A/C in unit #14 so windows were open and it was very noisy until late.

It was 100 ft from main square. It was in a centuries old structure and decorated in a wonderful style Understandable it did not have ac but it came with a fan. The thick walls provided good insulation and I slept comfortably

The location was nice and most of the rooms were excellent. The breakfast was very good and they were accommodating. The rooms in the back were very good, but room number 1 was really noisy because of the music bar. It is not the hotel's fault the bar is open until 4 a.m., but maybe better soundproofing for the room would help, as the person staying there was not able to sleep despite having a sound machine. Room 2 was better insulated, so there was not the same issue with noise.

I liked that the old style was preserved, breakfast, the staff is ready to help step at the entrance to the bathroom, but I understand that there is nothing special to do about it
