The hotel is located in a small and charming village with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees Mountains. Tasty local dinner and friendly staff. Poor breakfast selection, with only sweet options available.

Outstanding stay - exceptional location, view, staff, food, village.

This a really lovely place in a great location. You can start hiking right away and enjoy some pretty easy hikes with great views. Dinner is really good and breakfast good as well.

The room size and no extra charges for pets. Breakfast was good. We were told 1.5 hours before arrival, the restaurant wasn't open. After 16 hours of driving, we wanted a hot meal and a drink.

Beautiful Château in a very quaint village with stunning walks nearby. We ate twice for breakfast and twice in the restaurant and what a gastronomique experience we had ! The breakfast - we had so much choice of fresh and artisan products all delicious and the evening meals we had were exceptional ! So much love has been put into the food and everything was cooked to perfection and there was some fantastic surprises on the menu unfortunately we couldn't eat every dish but we will be back to do just that ! Thank you for you passion we appreciated it greatly ! The room was lovely and high class bedding. For everything room, breakfast and dinner it all was very reasonably priced - compared to a lot of other places i would call it a bargain for the price/quality Merci !!

Beautiful small village, beautiful property, beautiful people, exceptional meals

The outside of the chateau is stunning and it is set on the mountain side with beautiful views. The inside is clean and well maintained but just didn’t seem to match the outside. It was too modern inside for our liking. The beds were com portable and everything was super clean. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great, the starters were excellent as was the amuse bouche, however a steak knife for the mains would have helped with cutting the steak and duck which felt on the tough side, however that might just have been our implements. The desert my wife had was great, however my cheese plate was 4 thin slices of cheese with nothing else (no bread, crackers, chutney, grapes, nuts, nothing) and was certainly not worth 14 euros, the cheese however tasted great. The previous reviews talked about an excellent breakfast. It was certainly not that, the breakfast was not the greatest. It was ok but there is defiantly room for improvement. The breakfast room is a massive characterless room on the first floor with no atmosphere and super quiet. It would have been better to eat downstairs where we ate our dinner. A mixed visit for us and could be better with little tweaks. The large breakfast room lacked any character, was too quiet and would have been better with some music in the background.

Magnificent location and views. Charming hostess. Restaurant had fabulous food. Bed was a bit small for one person in our group.

All the meals were excellent at the hotel, superb breakfast, fresh and homemade. Evening meals great quality and perfect after a day in the mountains.
-
The property is located high in the hills and couldn’t have a better view. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and cozy. The break could have had more options.

Beautiful castle in beautiful environment. Super friendly team! Traveling with child & dog we felt exceptionally welcome! Nothing.

Excellent location. Mountain view. Friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming. Excellent dinner and plentiful petit dejeuner. Nothing to not like.

Fantastic location with great views across the valley. The Château is freshly renovated - a real experience to stay in. The rooms are great and offer everything you need. Everything was refurbished. Don't miss out on the breakfast. Everything is freshly prepared. Will definitely come back

The hotel is perfectly located towards the end of the valley with a lot of accessible hikes very close by. Guillaume and his wife will advise on what’s the best hike for you to follow depending on what you are look g for. The restaurant is a bijou with amazing courses in a beautiful landscape frame. Highly recommended. Room number 8 which we were given was very spacious and particularly fit for our stay with our dog, but a little noisy as it is close to the breakfast dining room.

Excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant and not too expensive/

I thought the staff were super nice and accommodating! Also, the views from the property are beautiful! Rooms are small but modern and clean. The breakfast, which we thought was included, was quite lackluster and expensive for what it was. If we were told at check-in breakfast was NOT included...we would've tried the first day and not have continued. Really, it was cereals, cakes, croissants, and watery eggs. Unrelated to Chateaux...I did not feel safe walking/hiking around the area due to a potentially aggressive sheep dog in the area. We traveled with our dog who is innocent and defenseless, so it wasn't a great feeling to go off and explore and I would've liked to have known that before. That's all! I think if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place to rest and recharge this is great! If you are traveling for the sole purpose of accommodating and exploring with your dog...I would heed my comments.

The location is stunning. It was a fairly hot day (30 degrees) and the room advertised AC but when we got there the AC wasn't working. The room was north facing but it was still too warm. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep as it was uncomfortably warm. When we discussed it with the staff in the evening we were informed that the AC units had been looked at by a service man but could only have either heat or AC so the decision was to have the heat working. Which is probably necessary in the winter but makes for a very warm room in the summer. A stand alone fan should be offered if the AC will not work.

Guillaume was a superb host and the evening dinner was first class. Stunning views. A great stop over. If they did not serve an evening meal, then you would need to drive a good distance to get food.
