Hampton Inn Champaign Southwest

Great hotel in a good location out of town. Very helpful staff at check in. Spacious room with large shower and very comfortable bed. Good to have walking trails nearby to help unwind after a long flight/journey. Restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of breakfast options, well mai rained by staff

Unfortunately, there was a mix up when I first checked in with my room having been given to other people before I got there. The staff somehow didn't see that there were people in my room, and gave me a key to the room. This could have been a much worse experience for all parties had I opened the door all the way. The staff were very apologetic and found me a new room on a different floor. Besides that unfortunate mix up, it was a nice stay.

The hotel pool has been out of order for over 4 months, what’s up?? Also there was an elevator out which made it more difficult for not only guest but cleaning staff too.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were great, friendly, and attentive. The whole hotel was very clean. Breakfast had lots of great options, and the breakfast staff were on top of refilling everything and super helpful. The beds were SUPER comfortable!! We would 100% stay again. There are also plenty of places for food within a short drive. The pool was down; however, we weren't planning to use it anyway.

Convenient and quiet location. Friendly staff and clean facilities. The air conditioning was controlled by a motion sensor and would cut off when there was no movement for a period of time. That’s a terrible setup and should never be the case in a hotel room.

The beds were not comfortable, you could feel the springs. The juice machine was out of order and there was no backup. For 200 a night I would expect them to suplement.

Breakfast was better than most hotels where I have stayed.

The property was very clean & looked new! It’s in a great location & was easy to find. The rooms were clean & comfortable-love the daily complimentary breakfasts.

The hotel was exceptional. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious -- and the breakfast cook/server was just amazing. So kind and helpful. It was a wonderful experience overall -- with only one exception. The pool was out of order. Nobody told us that when we checked in, and I really think people with reservations should be informed. Our daughter was SOOO excited about swimming, and was already to jump in the pool when we saw the sign on the pool door that it was out of commission.
