Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn

The location is pretty much the best you can get in the city. Given the type of hotel, this is obviously geared towards tourists. I've always had nice breakfasts at Thai hotels, this is an exception. For the price category, orange juice out of a box is not really acceptable. I went for the Thai breakfast the first day which I regretted, some dried liver and very dry pork in the soup... It is very hard to find thai food which is not good, but there are rare exceptions. I ended up choosing the UK style (not quite) breakfast the next day. Not really enjoyable. To note the rooms upstairs have a ladder (quite steep) to go to bed, not something for people with mobility problems.

Beautiful Thai style wooden house in a good location. Breakfast and calamansi juice with a river view were so good.

Right in the heart of chantaboon

One of the most beautiful and authentic properties I've ever stayed at in Thailand, right on the charming Chanthaboon Riverfront no less. The delicious breakfast was icing on the cake!

The museum like home stay . The too small room. The elevated beds by climbing up on a tiny and steep ladder. Very uncomfortable and risky for especially elders.

We liked the historic architecture and tall ceilings of the room. Comfortable beds and the efficient space was a zen-like experience for us. Breakfast was perfect. The thin walls that allow us to hear sounds from neighbouring rooms.

Cute hotel in very good location. We changed our plans and wanted to come one night earlier - they were very kind and arranged everything. We then forgot charger at the hotel and they sent it to our next destination. So staff 100/10. Cute hotel in very good location.

I liked the old style from this hotel ,beside when you enter the hotel you have to take your shoes off so the floor is nice and clean ,you eat the breakfast outside by the river

Charming old hotel All satisfactory

Beautifully renovated hotel in a very nice neighborhood. Very friendly staff and the best breakfast we had in Thailand! We would certainly come back.

Exceptional

Beautiful building in a great location right by the river in a characterful street. Friendly staff and a good breakfast on the terrace. The bed up on a platform just didn't work for me, it was higher than the AC unit so whilst the 'downstairs' was pretty cold, the 'upstairs' was unpleasantly hot and stuffy. I really wanted to like the place but spent an uncomfortable night.

Room a bit small

The character of the place. It reminds of another era. The location is the best and the stuff the most gentle we have met so far in Thailand all was perfect
