Hampton Inn Charleston - Daniel Island

The toilet kept clogging up in our room and our room smelt like dog pee! Did not realize it was a pet friendly hotel, until the next day when we heard dogs barking. Everything was seriously dated and showed serious wear and tear.

The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The staff was friendly and professional. The pool was clean and we used it several times. Hot and tasty standard continental breakfast. Grocery store, pharmacy, bars and restaurants were less than five minutes away on Daniel's Island. Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island and Mount Pleasant were less than fifteen minutes away, and an easy drive into Charleston for sightseeing and shopping. Angel Oak was about forty five minutes away. We were there for 3 nights and 4 days and stayed on the beach each day at the Isle of Palms County Park and had wonderful vacation.

This was a short business stay, so I didn't use amenities, but basics were perfect. That is, clean room, comfortable bed, and a good quick breakfast

The bathroom sink leaked, so I had to move to another room. The sheets in the second room were dirty.

Great breakfast selection, clean and well apportioned rooms and lovely location.

Was very clean, nice staff and very convenient location for walking distance to many nearby places.

Unfortunately the pool was closed the day we were there but the place was beautiful. It was also a short walk to the stadium and restaurants.

We booked the king suite it was very roomy and beds were very comfy. Only thing I would say is to have a bigger fridge in the room, they were like micro mini fridges. Otherwise it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t too bad typical hotel complementary buffet.

The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean, roomy and well appointed. Breakfast was exceptional! Thank you. Everything was top notch. There was nothing that I/we didn't like.

The staff were fantastic and really nice to talk with. The breakfast offerings changed a little day to day, which was nice.
