Econo Lodge Charlotte Airport Area

This property was not at all as advertised. I get it, it's cheap, but it was very deceiving. The photos showed at least some furniture in the rooms, such as chair and nightstands on both sides. We had zero chairs and only one nightstand and a desk. It was literally a place to sleep, nothing more. I had to leave my phone charging on the floor and had to crawl out of the bed at the bottom because they barely left any room between the bed and the wall. It also said continental breakfast. Ummm, there was cereal, toast and coffee. The photos at least showed a juice machine and there was not one. The only positive about staying there was that they did have an ice bucket in the room which has been missing at many places we have stayed.

Nothing. There is literally nothing good about this motel. Terrible neighborhood, electrical outlets not working, trying to do maintenance at 12am!!! No TV, no fridge, no microwave. For some reason they need a 50 dollar cash deposit that they don't want to give back to you. RAMPANT DRUG USE ON PROPERTY. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE!!!!

Honestly, I wouldn’t come back! I called the hotel the day before, and they told me the front desk was open 24 hours. However, when I arrived at 3:00 a.m., they were in the middle of a shift change, and the next employee wasn’t scheduled to arrive until 4:00 a.m. The woman who came was extremely rude and said she couldn’t help us with anything, that we would have to wait, and that the next day we would still have to check out promptly at 11:00 a.m. regardless of their mistake. I would like to cancel the reservation.

When I called Hotels.com to rectify the issue, I was forwarded multiple times and hung up on. I have still not received a refund for the stay I never got to have.

The staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable Not the cleanest ...some damage to the roomthat could potentially cause injury such as raised flooring. Also noticed mold in the bathroom.

Night staff wasn't very good and the rules about checking on aren't explained very well
