Woodspring Suites Charlotte Airport

Booked a room for 4 people.. I was only given two towels. When we asked for more, we were told we couldn’t get more until we brought the dirty two towels back downstairs and exchanged them. Very clean but did not give us what we needed.

No breakfast at this property. Room was mostly clean, some crumbs, but the beds were very clean!

5 STARS honestly

There is soap in only some rooms. Had to ask for Iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Iron didn't work. 1st room was not fully cleaned. Staff was very nice, but there really is no amenities in this hotel. No ice machine. Guess must freeze their own. Cheap hotel, cheap service.

Room was clean

That said, this was the first time I’ve stayed somewhere, regardless of price point, that didn’t even provide soap in the bathroom to wash your hands. Not even a bar of soap. Luckily, I travel with essentials, but it’s disappointing to see how much corners are being cut. No coffee, no tea, nothing. There was simply no sense of hospitality here. Good thing I was only passing through and had to stay here for just one night.

Be aware this is not a hotel. It's an extended stay with basically no amenities in the room. It's a new property so inside it is clean but outside lots of smell of weed. No breakfast either. Also very disappointed with my experience of requesting a toilet paper (which they didn't have To start with) and they expected me to come to lobby and get it. I should have checked the reviews of Google which are more realistic. Maybe a good place for a long stay where you bring your own staff but experience as a short 2 stay visitor was way below par compared to any other property that I have stayed. I even flagged the toilet paper issue with the management but no acknowledgement of any type.

Exceptional

Cut the stay short. Outside the facility were two soliciting prostitutes, people smoking marijuana, and a broken down car with a flat tire. The staff was very friendly but that did not make us feel safe. The rooms were clean but VERY basic (towels but no soap).

The room had stuff left in the refrigerator. The toilet set was lose. Reported these items. Back entrance broken and would not let you in even with key card. Part on order but only found out after I said something Keys for room had to be reprogrammed twice. While I understand security the the double doors needed card key at all hours

Location and staff Food under the cushion of the chair, and the bed was awful and only three slim pillows, so it was uncomfortable to sit up and watch tv as well as sleep

Very clean

Facilities were fine and check-in was very smooth, but over a 3-night stay, every time returning to property, numerous people were hanging out in the parking lot. Not the fault of the hotel, but getting multiple stare downs detracted from the stay.
