Pool was closed no one barely at the front desk

The room was super clean and fresh. Nice options for the shower head (I am short). Towels were thick. Lobby and hallways are clean.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel to where the TV in the room didn’t work. I understand that it’s a new Hotel but please make sure everything works in the rooms before booking someone in them. After a long day of traveling wanted to watch tv and it didn’t happen.

Very nice staff. Room very clean.

The breakfast area was poor. No toaster for the 5 days we were there. No trash can near the waffle station. Same food everyday and ran out of items. Hot water in the coffee earn marked "dark roast" at breakfast. Pillows were large and hard. No variety. Facility was fine, but I expected so much more from a hotel chain that I used to consider "Upscale"!

The Hampton Inn in Chelsea was cheaply renovated with the pool room not done. No toaster in the breakfast room because one was on order. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Had to stop the cleaning lady twice for towels and room supplies. Don’t recommend.

Pool and hot tub being renovated… no one working on them the days we were there and it is a real mess. I stayed for two nights and my room did not get cleaned at all. I had to go to the desk to ask for some fresh towels. Did not like the fact that they charge a $100 incidental fee… It is refunded when you check out, but there really aren’t any incidentals in the room to purchase so not sure what the point is in charging the extra $100 at check-in. Free breakfast was OK however there was no toaster. They said the toaster was broken and they had one on order so there was no way to make toast or bagels!

The breakfast a tad sparse, but overall a nice stay.

No internet or tv.. Hot tub and pool out of commission. Couldn’t leave room unless staff walked me back to room to get in. Next day..no coffee. One staff member trying to check people out. Management working on fixing. Left without receipt.

Very clean room. Temperature was great. No WI-FI, elevator was out for a time, bed was soft.

Good food No TV

The first room we were given had a disassembled AC unit sitting in the middle of the floor. Took the staff 20 minutes to figure out what other rooms were available. They tried to enter our room at 11:00 at night, as they were doing manual room checks

There was a universal outage to Hiltons system, which I understand. Check in took forever and the night manager had no idea what rooms were occupied. Of course there was no tv or WiFi, which is one thing, and the pool was under construction so we could not use that either. At a certain point, what am I paying for? The biggest problem here was that a manager called all of our rooms after 11pm, demanding our names and saying they didn’t have records for us. Respectfully, I don’t care if your records are a mess, you do not wake people up by calling their rooms late at night when they are already asleep because they have to wake up for a competition at 5am. I paid for a room, it’s not my problem. They even entered the rooms where people did not answer the phone. That is not okay. I suppose in the end I had a bed and AC but even in the morning there was no hot food remaining at breakfast in the middle of breakfast hours. Staff was not particularly apologetic or helpful. The value was not here.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Hampton in Chelsea. The room was immaculately clean, as were the common areas. The hotel has gone through an extensive renovation and the pool/hot tub area is not yet complete. They accommodated our dog without issue. The breakfast provided lots of options and was included. There's a great Japanese/Thai restaurant, Sakura, just behind the hotel which was amazing - huge portions so we wished we had shared one entree! The town of Chelsea is cute and the main downtown area is a car ride away (about 8 min). There are cute shops and restaurants there to explore. I enjoyed browsing Chelsea Consignment and found some great finds. We had wonderful meals at The Common Grill and Grateful Crow - highly recommend both! The people in the town are very friendly and the whole area felt welcoming.
