The rooms and the building were beautiful, clean, and functional. We didn't get to stay and enjoy the breakfast, but I am sure it was stupendous.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Love the gym swimming pool steam room sauna everything! Connect to the shopping mall with the supermarket downstairs very convenient. A little bit far from the center, but it’s in a very good area. Can access to subway easily if one knows how to rent a bicycle.

Despite the fact that this is an American-branded 5* hotel, it's very difficult to get in touch with them from outside China. There is a 'concierge' and tour group helper called Echo Zhang on their site and here on booking.com.....Echo has not worked there for over a year and is not responding to calls or messages. If you call the hotel, you will prob be sent to a phone tree (no immediate pick up). There were some problems with: spit on sidewalk in front of front door. poor quality Chinese wine in the hotel bar (tasted like it had liquor added to it to bolster it). house-keeping bothering us (assuming we had checked out but we were a weekend stay). door man snoozing half the time. No one speaks English

Loved the free breakfast and the bar had great cocktails! The top rooftop bar was closed for some reason and the television only had one English Channel (News)
