This was the perfect location for shopping, right in the middle of the big malls with lots of spots to eat out, as well as the metrostation. The views from our room in the 32nd floor were really impressive! We also enjoyed the comfy beds, blackout curtains and breakfast selection in the club lounge. We really liked the Dandan noodles and club sandwich that we had for lunch there. There is also a decent gym that we enjoyed working out in. We also got a free upgrade to a bigger room, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated! The pool is not for adults to relax at. If you're travelling from the West and were hoping for a pool with a view where you could lounge and read a book, this isn't the place to book. It's great for families with children who like playing in the water. There are three lifeguards on duty. It was difficult for us to order room service because the order has to be placed on the hotel's app, which only works if you have a phone number from certain countries. Calling guest services to order also didn't work, we either had to go down to the lobby to put our order in one of the employees' phones, or have one of them come up to our room with their phone to take our order. Getting our laundry done was really expensive. As with many hotels in China, this one also charges per item, which meant we ended up spending over 200$ on two small loads of laundry. It seems that there aren't any self-laundromats in Chinese cities, and since we were running out of clean clothes on our trip, we had to get some washing done. The laundry was delivered timely and clean, but we couldn't figure out why it smelled like food. For the steep price, one expects the laundry to smell fresh.

Perfect central location, friendly English-speaking staff, beautiful and spotless rooms, and very reasonable rates. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

The staff was friendly, pleasant, and very helpful. The location was fantastic: close to subway and shopping and convenient for everything we wanted to do. The breakfast buffet was among the best I've had anywhere.

The location was fantastic - centrally located, close by to the Chunxi Road malls. Breakfast was also top-notch with options available for everyone be it western or Asian, and starting from 6:30am makes it so easy to get out and explore early in the morning. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I appreciated that the housekeeping staff supplied extra bottles of drinking water without us asking for them; we only had to buy extra water on our first night. The high floor room also filtered out most of the noise from the street and the commercial areas. The airconditoning unit makes a lot of noise, and you have to set the temperature to 14 deg so that it can even reach 20 deg, which is bizarre. The room doors are not very well sound-proofed so you can hear sounds from the corridor very clearly inside the room. Having the toilet separate from the shower is a bit of a hassle. Walking to the Chunxi road metro station brings you past this rubbish disposal area which is really horrible-smelling, it's torture having to walk past it every day to get to the metro station.

Just good location. Need a refresh of all the hotel. Old furnitures and rooms. Need to change elevator always.

Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the variety and lounge was great. Room is clean and comfortable, view is great. Location is really good and convenient. There was a floor panel at the door to the bathroom that creaks. Nothing major, extremely satisfied with my stay.

Check out was horrible. We had an early flight so we were checking out at 5 am and we informed them when we checked in. There was no one at the front desk. We yelled and no one answered. I found a phone and dialed the operator and no one answered. After 5 minutes, someone finally came out from the back with an airplane pillow around her neck. There were no apologies and she was quite rude. I guess she expected us to apologize for disturbing her beauty sleep. I'd expect that of we were staying at some back country motel, but this is a Grand Hyatt.

The location is good. Staff is nice and attentive. One of the staff that I forget to ask her name was really helpful. She tried to help us with Wechat and communicated with the Didi's driver. My daughter loves staying here so much. She didn't want to leave. She enjoyed swimming every night. However, if you want to swim, don't forget to bring the swimming cap. If we have a chance to visit Chengdu again, we will definitely stay here.

Very good location, near the Chengdu's central business district of Chunxi Road. The room is nice with city view, clean & moderately spacious for us. The staff at the reception & concierge speaking good English. There were unpleasant smell outside the room, in the passage between the rooms. Smell like coming from the restaurant. We have to endure the smell every time coming out from the room to the elevator throughout our stay of 4 days 3 nights at the hotel.

Good Breakfast. Excellent Location. Staff at Reception, Bartender at The Bar and Servers and Chefs at Cafe (Breakfast session) are very helpful and friendly Bed and Air-Con are comfortable The Supervisor at the Spa is not friendly as we used the coupon at Dianping, but the therapist is professional. We enjoyed the massage.
