Breakfast was easily the only acceptable aspect of this hotel Dark, dingy room. Shower delivered a tepid trickle of lukewarm water. Poor toiletries; had to request a bath towel. Poor interior lighting…many more dings

Default rooms are too small. Needed an upgrade for room with view. That was spacious There was a pungent smell of thinner on the day 1, which was very uncomfortable. Such strong chemicals are detrimental for general health. Also, standard rooms are very small n feel claustrophobic.. staff should mention about bigger rooms upfront.

The only redeeming features are the proximity to the IIT Madras Research Park (if you have a conference there) and the functioning airconditioning. Other than that, this place was a huge disappointment and a completely avoidable hotel. Though it's a new hotel, the facilities and maintenance are very poor. Dusty room, stained bathroom and toilet, wifi not working (needed repeated visits to the reception to sort out), noisy corridors with other guests and cleaning staff talking loudly, room had no amenities (had to request repeatedly to get a chair), free breakfast was disappointing. To add to this, the location is not close to the city centre and most cab drivers had a problem reaching the place despite directions on Google Maps. The hotel has a partner travel desk but the rates are twice that of standard cabs and for my departure, the cab suggested by the travel desk did not turn up in the morning and I had to desperately arrange another mode of transport

Everything was fine until the current cut. It came back in 10 minutes but being a star hotel, having an additional power source is recommended

Booking cancelled abruptly. No logical reason given, cited booking.com/Agoda has issue and bad records in terms of booking issues. I was left with no choice but wandering on the road late at night and ultimately a compromised stay in some filthy hotel. Worst experience ever in my life

The staff was hospitable and accomodating. The quality of room was not even similar to pictures. The room was very dark and small with no windows in it. The pictures uploaded on the website are very deceptive.
