Location rooms and breakfast Nothing

Closeness to all main attractions, very nice hotel with good breakfast options and walking distance to great cafes nearby. Very well maintained hotel with friendly and understanding staff, supportive. The room they gave was facing the traffic. So, too much noise from honking. Then I requested and they changed the room for me. But the new room felt stuffy and the smell didn't go away even after applying room freshener. I had to chase multiple times for water replenishment, etc. I mean, if 2 people are staying in the room, you can't keep 4 bottles that you usually keep. You should keep 8, because it's 2 people. But they didn't and I had to keep chasing them.

Loved the stay, the service was best

Front desk staff are not well trained, they have no idea how to handle billing or treat customers the right way . If you ask them for water to be sent up to the room it takes ages and you have to go down and remind them again.

breakfast was good, usual continental with south indian food. Staff helpers were thoughtful and respecting to the guests demans. bed was too soft. They had to place a mattress topper as i had backache after first night. Food and drinks are pricey !

Excellent location and a comfortable and pleasant stay

The food and hospitality both were really good. The property is well maintained but is old. The breakfast buffet was really good.

When I come to chennai I stay only this hotel

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast during our stay as a family of four adults and one child. The spread offered a good variety of options, catering to both adults and kids, which made mornings easy and enjoyable for us. The food was fresh and well-presented, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Overall, it was a pleasant and family-friendly breakfast experience. We booked 2 Superior rooms for us and our family. Both the rooms were charged the same price however the facilities offered in both the rooms differed. One had sit out couch and additional amenities and one did not. we felt that housekeeping could improve in terms of consistency. While the room was well-cleaned on some days, on others there were minor lapses such as missed items or delays in service. One room did not have hair dryer provided and one did not Iron. So the housekeeping is not keeping a check on the amenities in the room. A more consistent standard of housekeeping would make a noticeable difference, especially for families who value a clean and well-maintained space throughout their stay. With a bit more attention to detail, the overall experience could be significantly enhanced.

It’s an iconic star hotels in chennai and they keep that standard up. Nothing I would say.

So they said they will be holding 25000/- INR in my card and they will refund in 3-5 days . The original amount is 20,000/- INR they said they will refund 5,000/- INR . But they still didn’t refund me the money.

For what we needed v centrally located Good breakfast, comfortable bed Towels in bathroom v old and worn Not great shower pressure, in fact the bathroom needed a refresh
