We had a lovely stay in Parida Resort. The apartments are a 10 minute taxi away from Bangtao beach. Bangtao is a lovely part of Phuket and much more classy than Patong. However, Patong is only 25 minutes in a taxi and is good to visit for a day trip.

Best advice: Stay away from this hotel! *Hotel did not accept credit cards as payment for the room. They said that it was something wrong with our cards (that we had used for 2 weeks in all other places in Thailand). They just accepted cash so we had to walk to an ATM to take out cash before checking in. * Hotel demanded 1.000 THB deposit for the key. Not mentioned by booking.com. * Hotel tried to give is the wrong roomtype with lower standard. After some discussion we recieved the correct room * Small flies (insects) all over the room * "Manager" very rude and tried to offer a very overpriced fee for keeping the room for a few extra hours (2.500 THB for 3 hours) * Most of the guests in the hotel are russians who like to smoke and drink alcohol by the pool..... * Best advice: Stay away from this hotel!

Lovely room. Great staff, really helpful. Rented a bike from them. Pool is clean, room is clean. Aircon is good. 20 min walk or 5 min bike or grab from lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants!

It was a good place for resting after a long travel; there’s not a lot happening on the road, but you’ll find the mad pizza man on the other side of the road, a 7/11 (doh!) and some local eateries… Location is a little isolated and there’s no central location where guests could meet.. a little impersonal…

- Very Nice hotel - Quiet - Very clean. Nice rooms. I enjoyed the pool a lot. I love it! - No staff at the reception sometimes. I waited so long to do my checkout.

Clean room. Easy to find. Parking facilities 1000 baht deposit for key. Spilt some coffee on bed and slight stain to bed sheet so charged for this when could be washed out. Taken from key deposit. Free coffee available but no tea On arrival nobody in reception went to office next door and tapped on window people in there but no response. Had to phone hotel for someone to come to reception.
