Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cheyenne

Great stay. Our room on the third floor seemed brand new. Everything was clean, well maintained and the beds were very comfortable. We arrived late in the evening with two kids and the front desk folks were very friendly and got us checked in quick. I appreciated the free breakfast in the morning and that the coffee machine even had an ice coffee function. We only needed a room for a night in the middle of a long drive but I would have been comfortable here for a longer stay.

We stopped for one night. It was clean, the staff was very helpful, efficient and diligent. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. Beds and pillows comfortable. Breakfast outstanding - oat meal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, eggs, home fries, sausage, biscuits, 3 kinds of cereal (including Raisin Bran), juice, coffee.

The hotel was dirty and there was unsavory people hanging out. The desk clerk couldn't fully pay attention to my check-in because she was watching the people. The room wasn't up to date and very small. The costs definitely did not match the amenities! The worst thing of all... the bathroom sink was clogged and every bit of water that was ran remained in the sink bowl. I had to shave in that! Terrible experience!

Okay stay for one night if you don't mind a small room with no extras. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good.

Overall, a nice place for an overnight stay. The property itself was nice. Well maintained inside. The room was nice, very cool with the a/c. The only downside was no iron and ironing board. The breakfast was very good, lots of options! The surrounding properties do bring the hotel down. Lots of boarded up buildings, was slightly worried about leaving our car parked. However, we didn’t have issues as we parked in the main front lot.

Breakfast was very good. Parking was very good as well. Staff personell were wonderful.

Review: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The bathroom design was very poor. Every time we took a shower, the water spread across the entire bathroom floor, making it impossible to use the sink or toilet without stepping in water. The floor stayed wet for a long time, which was inconvenient and unsafe. In addition, the young lady at the front desk during check-in seemed upset and was not welcoming. I’m not sure why, but her attitude made us feel uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. Better customer service and improvements to the bathroom would make a big difference. Bathroom design, poor drainage, and unfriendly front desk service.

The first room they placed us in had balls of hair on the floor, under the sheets and on the pillows. There were dead bugs in the bathroom. After notifying the front desk they changed us to another room where there was a strong marijuana smell and more hair on the sheets with small blood stains as well. At this point I let the clerk know we were going to another hotel. He apologized and assured me the manager would contact me the next day about this. I have not heard from anyone despite sending them a message. I would recommend spending a few more dollars at another hotel for a clean nights stay.

Good hotel for one night in Cheyenne. Had everything we needed and the right price.

For starters, the sides of th building don’t have a trash can for your dog waste and when I went to grab bags for my dog right inside the door, i grabbed a bag of dog poop that someone has put in the clean doggie bags holder! The microwave sounds like a loud whine/scream just like a ghost. I paid separate for my pets. In the night a receipt was put under my door. I had used a card that had little money on it but enough to cover the $67 fee. Well, an authorization was done and then separate charges were tried on my card for those amount. Even an extra $.70 some cents that is still debited. My phone went off all night or my dogs barked from the note under my door, asking me to see the front desk. I finally had enough at 4am from my phone going off about a declined charge and an hour later a not apologizing came back. It was a “ruff” night and no sleep 😴 the breakfast was mid.

Would def stay here again

Breakfast was disappointing with few choices, and what they had was not very good.
