Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cheyenne

Owner and employees parked in the front over hang which then customers could not use it. Building looked decent but needs some touch ups. Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful, bedroom at first seemed okay but the bed sheets stunk so bad. Desk clerk brought us new bedding and even offered to change the sheets but since it seemed like she was all by herself in the evening we did it as she was rushing. Breakfast was decent. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant stay just from the nasty bed and dog hair in room.

We checked in and were given a first floor room that the window wouldn’t lock. The room was musty and dirty. We were transferred to another room but the A/C unit had dirt in it and would rattle and blow out if we turned the fan on. We shouldn’t have stayed when we pulled in and multiple buildings surrounding the hotel were boarded up. We were unsure if the safety of our car. We did end up leaving and not staying at the property.

Room was clean and staff were nice.

The next day I went to dry my hair and the hair dryer didn't work. This was not an ideal stay.

Not the cleanest. Just not the best. Don't think I would stay in another Microtel.

Nice location. Very friendly staff. My only issue was some yappy dogs that woke me up too early in an adjacent room and the pillows and sheets could be more hotel quality.

Great breakfast and just had a real easy stay with this hotel. No problems with checking in or all the needed expectations of a hotel,

I cannot give this hotel an excellent rating as I would like. However, it is a good hotel in a good neighborhood. The breakfast is alright, wish it had more options. There were cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, and sausage and a few muffins. So, it hits the spot. The worst part was the slamming of doors and the paper-thin walls. We could hear people talking in the room next to us, the slamming of microwave doors, and not sure if it was the TV below us or behind us. And no matter which room you stay in there is always the slamming of doors. Other than that, we would stay here again.

Location suited me in every way. Easily and quickly got to my local destinations!!

Clean room 😊 & helpful staff. The bathroom was missing the sink & bathtub plugs but, oh well. We didn’t eat so I can’t comment on breakfast. I would stay there again.

The hotel was fine. Fairly clean and breakfast was about what you’d expect. Not a bad stay for the price.

The bathroom counter space was much too small. The air conditioner did not have a constant fan setting, so the hallway noise was very noticeable. The front desk attendant was asleep when we checked out at 9:30 am.

Good breakfast, nice staff. Love the bell hop carts to help get stuff from the car to the room.

The room did not remotely resemble any of the pictures on Expedia. The bathroom didn’t have any counter space. The water in the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, no in between. I almost hurt myself getting out of the shower because of the step down. The mini fridge and microwave were an afterthought stacked on top of each other against the wall. All the floors were grimy. The elevator was rickety. It wasn’t a cheap room. Unacceptable. If we needed more than one night I would have moved to another hotel.

Motel was not in the best of neighborhoods. It was clean. Nothing great.

I have stayed here twice, both times no problems. Staff and service has been great. The price very reasonable. I Will plan on staying again .
