Bantunglom Resort

We came back to the Bantunglom Resort, and it feels like our first visit—we still love it! This time, we stayed in the 360-degree panorama suite. We had a bird’s-eye view of the property and the beautiful rice fields around it. The included breakfast has a nice variety and is made with high-quality ingredients. The dinners were delicious, and even our Thai daughter-in-law (who loves to cook) raved about the food! It was excellent value for the money. If you’re tired of cookie-cutter hotels and are looking for a quiet, friendly and relaxing Thai resort, this is the place to stay.

Beautiful property and location. Not too far walk from a great burger place. Kind staff and great food We noticed in the corners of our room that there were LOTS of ants. In the mirror in the bathroom. above the bed area. They were extremely active at night and mostly gone by the morning

A tranquil, charming small resort nestled amongst the rice fields. The onsite restaurant provides great meals at reasonable prices and they have good quality European and Asian breakfast options (we looked forward to the treats wrapped in banana leaves each morning). The rooms are beautifully decorated in Thai style and the staff are friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. We’ll definitely be back again.

The staff is so kind and helpful. We needed a laundry service, and they handled it. The room was super authentic, clean, and comfortable. The internet connection was good enough for online meetings. If you're hungry after 7 pm, you can order food from grab app.

I loved this place! It looks even better than the photos. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well designed. Resort was peaceful with many gardens and areas to enjoy nature. The staff and owners of the resort were soo friendly and helpful, always smiling. The breakfast was excellent, tasty, variety of fruits, cakes, desserts and a good selection on the menu. Stayed 5 days a d enjoyed everyday there The only negative was locating the resort, as the bridges and roads in the back streets were just wide enough for a car.

Everything! We are so glad we found this place. There was even a small gym by the pool. The insect noise is strong even when the windows are shut, so if you're a light sleeper like me do bring ear plugs.

Intimate resort surrounded by rice fields away from hustle and bustle. Breakfast fresh and delicious, fruits, many teas, breads, cakes and then a choice of 4 cooked options including fried eggs, omelet, bacon. Restaurant open until 7pm serving gorgeous Thai food, reasonably priced. Dogs on site so ensure you are dog friendly! Lovely welcoming family run establishment. Rooms in traditional Thai style, wooden interiors, ample room to stretch out and relax. Beds are Thai firm Dogs are lovely yet they do bark a lot at night which disturbs sleep so take ear plugs.

Location. Room. Staff. Breakfast. What more can I say? SUPER++++ Everything right

We felt very welcomed, and everyone was nice, as usual in Thailand. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruits pastries and also other dishes you could opt for. The room was good enough. It felt like it lacked a bit of privacy as all the walls are with glass, but overall we were comfortable. We were happy to have coffee, tea and some snakcs/fruits available throughout the day. We loved having the bikes available to explore the area! The room is a bit dated, with a lot of carved wood in furniture and room structures, and thus feels at the edge of being dusty/dirty, but it's still good enough. The main issue in the room was bathroom cleanliness. It's great to have a bathtub, but it had yellow and grey stains of accumulated dirt/soap in all the edges of drain, handles, etc. We washed/scrubbed well before, and could remove most or it, to feel comfortable to use it. The food at the restaurant is okay. The rest of the facilities are kind of abandoned, so it also felt a bit unfortunate not to have a comfortable chair to use around the pond or the deck. They also have several dogs, they are cute and friendly, one even went on a walk with me once. However, we did not appreciate the strong smell that comes from their sleeping area, which is also just to the table with breakfast and coffee and tea are set. At times it felt not hygienic, that they go everywhere, including the Breakfast area, jump on the chairs where you are eating, etc. One of them also broke our hearts as he is very old and sick. And he can barely move. He also peed next to breakfast area once, not his fault, but it was painful to see him howling around in pain, barely able to walk, and it felt to us like they should take care of him in a more appropriate way. Finally, on a more positive note, the location is fantastic and there are a lot of small restaurants and many cute coffee shops around to explore.

this was one of the best stays and hotels I have ever been to! The peacefulness, the view, the design of the huts and the territory is so refreshing and nice. Also the best thai food I had!

Beautiful location in nature - nice rooms with a big bath. Seemed a bit messy around the resort - upturned furniture everywhere. Maybe just needs a proper sort out? Wasn’t keen on the owners dogs being around - they seem quite ill and defecating on the floor. I guess it had more homestay vibes?

The only thing you should definitely take into consideration that it's really far from the center, around 40 min by car. It took us 1.30 hours from the airport to arrive.

A stunning, secluded spot in the middle of the rice fields. It offers great views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend staying here! Nothing
