the lobby and breakfast area was aesthetically pleasing. staff were friendly. the washrooms and the room was not cleaned regularly. there is also limited number of shared washrooms given it has dorm rooms. there is also no sink or wet tissues for washing/wiping hands before and after breakfast. have to use the one in the washrooms.

beds are super comfy, the garden is so nice to relax - lots of seating available, the water pressure is great and everything is very clean. location is super quiet too but close to the weekend market.

The breakfast was great! The staff is so helpful and kind. The place is even more beautiful in real life and the dorm bed was so comfy. Honestly the best hostel I’ve ever experienced so far !

I loved the atmosphere that they had. It seemed like alot of work went into the garden as well as treating their guests nicely. I genuinely can’t think of something bad to say about this hostel.

Very cute place in general, with a garden and a hammock, a nicely decorated lobby and clean rooms. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and noodles, egg, waffles, toast every day, and the staff was always helpful and super nice even when communication was a little difficult at times. Location was great, in a quiet and green side Alley, right outside the historic city gates and with a street food market and a 7/11 a 3 minute walk away. Bonus points for the drink shop run by an older lady right next to the hostel, got iced drinks there for 35THB and always had a nice chat with her. The hostel was also fine with us sitting in the garden after hours and having a beer and a laugh with other travellers, and they also got our room ready super fast when we showed up early on check-in day. The hostel also has the very best receptionist I have ever met, super friendly and cuddly, 10/10 (he was a very sweet black and white cat) Would definitely recommend this place The wifi was very bad. Didn't work at all in the room and badly in the lobby. The bathroom also smelled like sewers when we first moved in. It got better but then smelled like urine (?) for the rest of the stay. The trashcans were cleaned daily with was very good, but the maintainance team left the door wide open while cleaning, so there were always tons of mosquitos in the room when we came back (the rooms open directly to the garden, without a hallway etc. In between, so the mosquitos just float in as soon as you open the door) Each night was mosquito hunt because of this. There is a washing machine where you can wash a lot of clothes for 40THB but it only washes cold and I think my clothes came out dirtier than they went in. Alternatively, for 60THB/kg You can drop your clothes at the reception and they will send them to the wash. The standard room (not the deluxe room) was also very dark bc it only had one narrow window which looked over the lightless space between two buildings. So definitely some room for improvement there. I would still recommend staying here despite this, because we had a lovely stay here, the people are great, the beds are comfy, and the location is very good.

The garden is so cosy (with mosquito spray) and staff r so friendly. Mattresses are from Sealy I think - best sleep in Chiang Mai lol. Private room has such a cool room layout too. No cannabis, 1 ply toilet paper (balanced out by the sheer quantity of an entire industrial roll tho)

The garden was beautiful and there were lots of nice sports to chill in. The free breakfast was super good. I loved that they had free drinking water as well. The owner of the hostel was so lovely and he spoke great English and was super helpful. I would definitely recommend in staying here. I wish there was a floor squeegee in the bathroom so you could get rid of access watering after showering. A night lamp and some more shelving space in the room for unpacking your things would have been ideal. Other than that I can't think of anything else I would change.
