At Pingnakorn Riverside Hotel Chiangmai

Beautiful hotel with friendly and well- trained staffs. Hotel garden is very beautiful located along Ping river. Hotel itself is pretty dated. Need a lot of renovation to maintain in good shape especially in toilet, air conditioning system and flooring. Hotel room cleaning needs a level up as we found hairs and dead insects in our room on our check-in.

While the property itself has potential, the lack of hospitality and comfort made the stay fall short of expectations. Our stay at Pingnakorn Riverside was unfortunately a disappointment overall, and we ultimately decided to change hotels during our trip due to the level of service and the overall comfort of the facilities. One of the biggest negatives was the staff interaction. Rather than feeling welcoming or helpful, the experience often felt transactional. A particularly disappointing moment was when we asked the front desk for recommendations and information about the local area, and we were simply told to “Google it” ourselves instead of receiving assistance or guidance.

Everything is looking good! The staffs are so welcoming and friendly.

The pool was in good condition and temperature. The hotel stuff was very helpful and kind. Is the room is well maintained. The that location of the hotel is just balanced between being closed to the city center and a quiet area by the river. There was no proper shower head hanger.

Charming small hotel at riverside, with spacious rooms and romantic patio. Good bathroom with strong shower. Very attentive and friendly staff. From original booking of 3 days I extended to 2 weeks - so obviously I felt comfortable. It's an old fashioned building, maybe it is not everyone's taste but it was comfortable and clean for me.

New silk sheets every day! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Big rooms, staff are so cordial, gorgeous pool and great breakfast;)

It was a beautiful setting! If you are wanting to be walking distance from the old city it is further away. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.

Location requires a ride anywhere you go. It would be nice if they provided a red truck transfer to the square.

Nothing Property is old not well kept. The curtains in room are dirty, furniture chairs in room are dirty. Cleaning people so clean daily was not good. Poor lighting. One of the worst hotels I have stay at in a long time.

Great staf - special traditional hotel - super service

The only thing I really liked was the complimentary drink. After that, everything was a tragedy. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel. Old facilities, outdated rooms and furniture, poor breakfast, and rude staff. The breakfast had very little variety — there was no bacon, no yogurt, and almost no fruit options. The rooms are very old. The beds were squeaky and the furniture was peeling and worn out. At first, we were given a room with a bathtub but no shower. After asking to change rooms, and with clear reluctance from the staff, we were directed to another room that at least had a shower. After all of this, I decided to cancel the reservation. Since we were not eligible for a refund, we spoke with Booking and agreed to stay for the first night while we looked for another place. However, two minutes later, the receptionist told us to leave the hotel because the reservation had been cancelled. It was humiliating. I tried to explain that this arrangement had been agreed upon with Booking, but she did not seem interested in listening. We started packing our things to leave, and while we were waiting for our Grab, she came back and said that we were actually allowed to stay for the night. Overall, it was a very unpleasant and confusing experience. There are many better hotels in Ao Nang for the same price.
