Nimman Mai Design Hotel Chiang Mai

We booked the Studio Mai Jewel Morocco room and were not disappointed. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The staff in particular went above and beyond; they were all so friendly, gracious and helpful - they all deserve recognition for their customer service skills. The hotel was also in an excellent location within the Nimman area; close to Nimman 1, Maya and numerous eateries, cafes, pharmacies and 7/11. Spoilt for choice. Would loved to have stayed longer had time permitted. Would definitely stay here again. Recommend for great location, great staff and great value for money. Loved everything about the hotel; the only comment is perhaps more choice for the breakfast menu. Not a deal breaker though, still enjoyable.

The location is perfect , near nimman and get away enough from noise from the main road. Rooms are clean and breakfast is acceptable for the price. Stuff are young and helpful . The thin wall helps you to hear couple’s activity so clear. ???

I like how the bed is so soft. Each sections fill with different colors and beautiful. Don’t try to make noise or knocking on the wall because your neighbors will report you right away. However, the staff (the guy in the front desk) will call you and warn you right away. This happens to us when we JUST check in and got WARN right away. Which, it’s not really professional. If we make noises and get repot at least 3 times then yes, the staff should warn us but we just check in. Think about that, it’s unprofessional. In the bathroom, there are some bugs nets.

I was honestly surprised to see some of the negative comments on Booking.com, as my experience was the complete opposite. From the cleanliness to the high level of service, everything was handled with care and professionalism.

The excellent service from the hotel staff. Everyone was very helpful, courteous and welcoming. Bathroom could use some towel holders or hooks.

The Nimman area is a perfect location near city center surrounded by many good restaurants, boutiques, massage shops or other facilities. It's very convenient and easy to walk around and discover nice places. My room was not luxury but large, clean and the bed was perfect. Great location and easy access to restaurants, shops or market! Very convenient.

Walls are thin, you will hear your neighbors. My room was next to the elevator and people were so loud while waiting for it in front of my room. Also, the hotel is directly under the flight path so you get all the noise!

A bit old and tired. WiFi is not stable..

The hotel is in a great location at Nimman, close to all restaurants, pubs, wine bars and only 20 minutes walk from the old city. A bit run down, the breakfast left lots to be desired even on a basic level. You better off to go out to one of the coffee shops and have breakfast then at the hotel. Although the rooms are good size the bed wasn't comfortable, Old mattress.
