The Oriental Siam Resort

Owners, management and staff were all amazing. Polite, gracious and accommodating. The resort grounds were a beautiful respite from the busy city streets. Our room was extremely comfortable, spotless and very spacious with a great veranda. While it is a short distance from the old city centre, it was very easy and affordable to get a Grab ride.

We were surprised with the Jasmine Villa which was a really big beautiful honeymoon suite. The staff were really sweet and amazing and very attentive! The mosquitos here made it a little bit difficult to enjoy sitting outside around the resort. No fault on the staff or resort. Breakfast menu needs work, I wasn’t too happy with the options. The beds were normal Thai beds, really firm and uncomfortable.

Excellent and friendly service from Nat, Kobby and their team. Beautiful, lush gardens and pool. The staff are so helpful and kind with small children, even steaming vegetables for my one-year-old baby and helping to make special meals. The sounds of the waterfall, stream and birds are relaxing every evening. Fresh coconut on the menu!

Loved the people, so friendly. Rooms were clean, the gardens were fantastic. Can’t think of anything.

Staffs are so nice and supportive. The waterfall at the back of the room. We liked the sound of the water so much. We enjoyed clean pool. The room was too dark even in a daytime. We wanted to have more vegetables and thai options for the breakfast.

The food was fresh, healthful, and appetizing. The staff was very available, pleasant and always helpful. The pools and grounds were beutiful and we enjoyed eating our meals and looking out over the grounds. There is very little to see or do on a walk outides of the property. The fitness center was below par.

Wow! My wife and I were not expecting to find such a jewel in Chaing Mai (well the outskirts anyway). We stayed in one of their villas and have to say it felt like being in our own home - it was SO quiet in the evenings and night we slept very well. The staff waited on us like we had never had before - like having private cooks and butlers. The grounds have so many plants, fountains, and pools. We will return! Since most things were downtown we did need a Grab or Taxi but they were only US$2-3 each way so no big deal. The solitude outweighs this minor inconvenience.

The hotel is a little oasis with beautiful gardens and just a few accommodations. It has a retro boutique resort feel which I really enjoyed. The villa was clean and comfortable, everything worked and was in good condition. The staff are all lovely and willing to help. It is located in a quiet part of town, away from the old town, but still easily accessible by taxi via the nearby highway. Breakfast is a la carte and includes sweet and savoury options. I didn't like that I had to leave so soon :)

Beautiful location it was like a dream ! Owners and staff were like family. They are so friendly and welcoming. They looked after my little one and we're so good and nice to her.

Quiet, nice and local if you go to the Temple and enjoy the vibe. Beds great (with nets), lovely to hear the quiet morning at sunrise, pool next to house. Owners friendly and helpful. Breakfast pretty good imo. It was without fault.

We had a fantastic week at Oriental Siam Resort! The staff were probably the friendliest we’ve ever encountered and were amazing with kids. Our villa was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, with plenty of plants, trees, and flowers, making it a really pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool and children’s playground were perfect for our toddler. The location was great for us—away from the busy tourist areas but still just a short and cheap taxi ride (15 minutes to the airport and 20 minutes to the old town). We'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful and family-friendly trip, and we hope to return in the future!

The property is beautiful, Very relaxing river and quaint swimming pool. Gardens are well maintained. Owners were very polite and listened to our feedback with patience and respectfully. Staff are very friendly as well. Prices for drinks and food on the property were very reasonable. Chicken next door / rooster screaming for 18 hours of our visit. Dust on curtains, mosquito nets caked in dust hanging over your bed while you sleep. Hard beds, terrible pillows

Very well maintained property, rooms very spacious with everything you need, great stuff for kids to play with, staff very friendly and happy to help with anything, great food at restaurant, few local shops within walking distance and short taxi ride to main part of Chiang Mai Everything was perfect

Nat (the owner) and her entire team truly make you feel like you are part of the family. The service is exceptional and the property is paradise. It’s very serene and feels truly remote. The rooms are very comfortable and the uniqueness of the property and furniture are lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and just a pure delight. Consider yourself lucky if you ever stay here and we hope to return!
