Best Motel By OYO Chicago I-90

I was forced to be on the streets at night in Chicago! I’m handicapped and use a walker and I had no where to stay…

Order a room through Expedia (third party app) and when i arrived the motel staff told me they hadn’t received the reservation for my room and they were having complications with booking through third party apps. They didnt have any extra rooms and it was just all over a horrible experience!

I asked the front desk employee whether the area was safe, and his response was, “If you’re concerned about safety, then don’t stay here.” That response made me feel unwelcome and reinforced my concerns, so I decided not to stay.

Absolutely not a safe place to stay! Room smell of smoke and not up to date in what a hotel should look like. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend to anyone to stay. Place should be condemned.

El precio fue lo unico bueno pero la experiencia fue terrible y jamas me habia pasado slgo asi , Al llegar me dijeron que no habia cuartos disponibles y yo con mi reservacion lista ,fue algo terrible no recomiendo para nada ese lugar para nada

The place is dirty, it smells weeds inside, room not clean, toilet not flashing. This is not a very good place to stay honestly.

We showed up after a 15 hour drive with a sign saying that all third party bookings are invalid. We talked to the clerk and he said we didn’t have a reservation without even asking for our name. I explained that I talked to staff that morning asking for a ground floor room due to recent surgery. He gave us a key and asked for us to check it out. There was garbage still on tables, the bed had no sheets or pillows. The bathroom had no towels and the toilet paper was wet. Being 10 at night and tires from drive, also unfamiliar with Chicago we had to sleep there for the night. We left promptly at 7 the next morning and lost a nights stay there because of the conditions. Another couple was given the same choice. Their toilet was full of feces and no working ac unit. There is no way I would recommend this place to anyone. I have never had a more horrible experience in customer service, conditions than this visit

They had no rooms and no people to talk to. Im still waiting to get my money back

Don't stay here . It's not safe . Could not even check in with reservations. Slept on sidewalk literally. Had to get a refund even after filing out paperwork and told to come back for room key later . I did and nobody there spent hours on hold in streets trying to resolve. Expedia couldn't even get ahold of property. Very disappointed on property side and Expedia. You have been warned trust the reviews this place is horrible

I did not even get to see a room, they overbooked me and at least two other people in line in front of me, The office was filthy, the woman said there were two rooms that she could not even rent out due to their poor condition. The neighborhood was seedy, the parking lot itself smelled awful. I am infact glad that this plan fell through, it looked like a stay there would have been miserable.

When I pulled up into the property, I thought it was a shelter. Old people sitting in their front doors, very few cars, froʻnt offìce had one ugly chair, the office looked dirty. The receptionist was n̈ìce though. Expedia shoudn't ĺet people a world away make loʻdging decision. A local agent would have kno wn better. And they want to be paid for the whole stay when I didn't set foot in the room. I would pay foʻr the first nigĥt. Nothing else

This is not a good place.

Nothing—everything was filthy. That’s no longer a motel you’d want to stay in; it’s completely useless now—it’s truly disgusting. I didn’t like any of it—not a single bit. It’s disgusting. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Nothing. The rooms weren’t clean, roach and mice infested. One particular lady on staff, I feel went above and beyond to lessen the experience of the stay by being discriminatory towards my dog.

It is not a good place to stay.
