Holiday Inn Chicago Dwtn - The Mart by IHG

This hotel was very nice. We liked the room, the pool, the bar area, and the location on the Chicago Riverwalk. My only complaint was that each day during our stay we had to contact the front desk in order to have enough towels or coffee for all three of us.

Good experience, staff were lovely, cleaned rooms, big plus they provide dove soap.

Simply amazing experience from checking in to checking out. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.

Loved it

We liked the location. The room was our issue. There was dust on register and lamp shade. The toilet was so small and low as if it was for a kid. Struggle to get up! The air register ran nonstop even when system was turned off, so very noisy. The TV would black out for about 3 minutes and you had to change channels to get it to come back on to continue watching what we were watching! Losing much of the shows content. Make sure to check your bill before leaving. Our parking was included in our reservation, but was added to our bill at checkout. Even after checking the bill we could not exit the parking garage. Had to call front desk to get the matter corrected to leave garage. The breakfast buffet was just okay, coffee was weak and not hot. If we return to Chicago probably will find another hotel.

Best indoor pool since the Nikki San Francisco.

Had an issue with my credit card the first day I arrived and couldn't pay the incidentals fee right away and had to spend the first night elsewhere, until I got the Wise card app and was able to check in. The room was wonderful, clean and the bed was so comfortable! Tried the breakfast buffet once... be aware they charge $30, might not do that again. Other than those, the stay was great!!! Highly recommend!

The staff was great, room was big with a nice view of the river pool was amazing, and the lobby with the big screen tv with good vibes, the only problem was getting a taxi early in the morning the system the hotel have was not good we ended up calling and uber.

Room was clean and in excellent condition. The staff were a delight and helpful, had some nice and funny conversations with them. Breakfast buffet was on point, delicious and plenty. Bar staff were excellent as well. Overall great experience and great stay at this hotel

Breakfast buffet is excellent. Restaurant staff and service is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Limited dinner menu but very well prepared.

The only thing I disliked was the bathroom light timer. It turned off every 5-10 mins even if you’re in the bathroom moving about.

The hotel staff were fantastic, welcoming and helpful. The room was your average hotel room. It was conveniently located off the river walk and near a transit stop. My only complaint was the loudness of the lobby and bar area. It echoes up the hotel so you can hear people partying until 3am in your room.

Breakfast was not good and over priced

This hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful- anything we needed was addressed right away. The lounge was beautiful and having a market ope 24 hours was great. I would recommend staying here if you’re visiting downtown Chicago!
