Great location. Dated but good value for the location by Michigan Avenue with buses a block or two away. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Safe area with security vehicles for 2 adjacent colleges often parked nearby. Good Thai restaurant next door & other good coffee & food options nearby. Note no refrigerator in room. I used Ice filled trash cans for drinks and leftovers. Bed & bedding comfortable - lots of pillows. Could have been cleaner. Bathroom & most surfaces were clean but surface mounted electrical boxes and backs of furniture were very dusty/dirty. Window ac faceplate (& probably filter behind) was very dirty & clean filter light was on. I never had time to have it cleaned while I was there (didn’t want maintenance to come in if I was not there). Reported the issues to the front desk when I checked out. Hopefully othets will have a cleaner experience. See above.

The hotel room a bit outdated, scarcity of electric jacks, so it was difficult to charge electronics. The coffee maker we’ve had to plug in the bathroom. The fridge was too cold and freezing our food The bathroom though HP accessible, was a bit dangerous having tilted ramp from shower area out, so personal could have slide and fall.but staff was very helpful trying to accommodate our needs

Bathtub very slippery, since there are no bars to hang onto, maybe a rubber bath mat?

No designated parking. Smoke detector kept going off. AC had a broken louver. No refrigerator. Spiders in corners. No counter space in bathroom and outlets too far away from the bed

Very good to stay for a short term, budget friendly, and staff was helpful.

Close to soldier field There was blood on one of the beds. Beds were not comfortable. The room next to us were fighting from 130-530 in the morning

Very good

We stay at this hotel very often at least 5x a year. Weather was nice for it being August and the room was clean, I don’t like that they stared charging a “early check in fee” when we got there at 2pm. Other than that this hotel is always convenient for the location.

Great location with competitive pricing

The staff is SO friendly but the rooms really aren’t great. Also the pull out sofa shouldn’t even be considered a sleepy option, it’s so awful! And the couch was heavily stained too, the king bed dipped in the middle as well, other than that, they replaced the towels and bedding every day which was nice and I liked that they had a microwave and mini fridge. Can’t beat the location though. I think a nice addition would be a water refilling station too! Can’t say I recommend but it was the cheapest option we could find in a central location in Chicago.

Nice place. Thank you staff

It was very outdated. Shower pressure was not good.

I had somewhere to sleep The front desk people was rude. They left us a half roll of toilet paper with no extra. Our shampoo was empty and they told us the ice was down the hall but didn’t tell us that the machine was out of order. They didn’t have a clean posting about parking and their deposit you have to pay at check in.

The only thing I enjoyed about this hotel was that I was able to back from the soldier field in under 20 minutes. This is the WORST hotel I’ve visited. I read all of the bad reviews and told myself one night can’t be that bad but it was indeed. I called the day before my check-in to confirm if I would be able to check-in early. I was told yes immediately with no other perimeters except for a fee. I arrived at around 10 am so they could hold my bags until early check-in was available. I came back at 11(the time they told me I could check in). I was told MY room still wasn’t ready. I watched countless amount of customers get checked in early and was not provided an explanation as to why I could not be checked in. From 11am-2pm I was told over and over I could not check in early because my room was not ready. Finally at 2pm, one of the staff members said they were going to upgrade my room so that I could check in. I was so exhausted from my 4am train and planned on sleeping all the way up until the concert but I didn’t have enough time because of this. This hotel is outdated, the bed was hard as a brick, carpets were dirty, towels were different shades of white, spider webs, dust, smelled of cigarettes, everything in my room squeaked, and I overheard someone say “the elevators are finally back up”. Upon my check-in, I told a staff member that I would like to have a late check out at 2 pm. Someone came knocking on my door at 10:30 asking me what time I was checking out. I told him and he nodded. Someone else came at 12:00 asking me what time I was checking out, I told her the same thing. There’s no communication whatsoever between the staff. After the concert, I felt terribly ill. I ordered some medicine from door dash and asked if they could bring it up to my room BECAUSE I have seen many door dashers going up to rooms with no issues. When the dasher arrived, he said that the front desk told him he could not come up and that I will have to come down to get it. The staff was very nice and polite but I feel like they should be taught how to provide accommodations for customers.

Friendly staff. Tiny bathroom, no shelf at all and tepid water.

The staff was very friendly during check-in and check-out. The property is old and in need of an update and remodel. The carpet has some staining, and you can see layered paint on the window and door casings. A few spots on the ceiling and chips in the stone in the bathroom. The room was clean, just in need of an update.

Clean, quiet, room with good, soft mattress. I like they had fridge, kitchen sink, and coffee maker. Bathroom/shower was good too.

Me and my fiancé had such a lovely stay! The view was amazing from our room, you can get a clear view of some of the city and even the sears tower. we unexpectedly got upgraded to the suite, everything we wanted to do was near by and within walking distance it was very easy to find our way back. Theres some food places near by so that was very helpful, staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again if the opportunity presents itself. The only downside is the tv is just cable tv but that’s a very nonissue complaint. They have wifi so if you bring your laptop or something you can watch specific streaming apps like that. Otherwise bring your own hdmi cord if you wanna see it specifically on a tv lol. Otherwise fantastic stay I have no real complaints.
