The hotel was clean and nice. The breakfast was not bad. The only reason I had an issue was when they tried to enter our room twice while we were there. It seemed like they really thought we checked out already. But to do it twice was a little much. It was hours before check out time. I am sure they were busy but it was a little disappointing.

The room was spacious and clean. Very nice. The eggs at the breakfast were not very good.

The hotel was replacing the roof, thus 8am to 6pm was to be quiet hours one morning they started at 6:45am the next morning was 6:30am you could hear workers on the roof. This we were placed on the top floor as well. Hotel management noted a full hotel on a Sunday and Monday which was not true. Management was indifferent. At least could have given a discount or comped the room. I wouldn’t have booked if known. They should have placed all reservations on the first or second floor.

I got a first-floor room, but it only has sheer shades—there are no blackout blinds.

Hotel was very clean and things seemed new. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is always great at Holiday Inn!

It was not mentioned on the booking that they were doing roofing. They put us on the top floor and work started at 7am. Not a gracious awakening. Plus I asked when checking in to be on a lower floor staff was indifferent.
