The beautiful staff are what truly make this resort special. The warmth, kindness, and genuine nature of the Thai people made this stay unforgettable. From the kitchen team to the spa, every staff member was exceptional and took outstanding care of the guests. I would also like to sincerely thank Jee, the Hotel Manager, for handling my concerns with care and professionalism. Although I initially struggled with the detox program and colon therapy, the staff supported me incredibly well, ensuring I had everything I needed to manage the discomfort. The resort also offers one of the best Pilates instructors I’ve experienced, and I thoroughly enjoyed the classes, though they are on the expensive side. The facilities were excellent; however, the renovations taking place during my stay did impact the experience. This was an oversight that could have been better managed, as noise during treatments was disruptive and access to the gym was occasionally limited. That said, I appreciate the efforts of the resort management, who handled the situation as well as possible and provided compensation to guests. Despite this, I would definitely return in the future.

Absolute Sanctuary was exactly what I was looking for. Very clean, modern rooms, nice pool, spa and great breakfast included. There were exercise classes, a morning walk on the beach and a van that took guests on trips to the night markets and to see the Temple and big Buddha. The food was delicious and healthy. The property was small with very friendly guests and good opportunities to meet each other. As a solo traveller I appreciated the warmth of the place. They had a variety of wellness packages, but I chose not to do one of the packages and just enjoy the spa services a la carte. I really had wanted to stay on a beach, and while Absolute has everything else going for it, it is not on the beach. I moved to a beach hotel for my last 3 nights and kept wishing I had stayed at Absolute! Can't always get everything! I also wish there were a few more exercise classes and beach walks for people not on programs.

For a solo traveler, this is an ideal property! Many solo travelers and very friendly guests as well as staff. Included in the price they provide a shuttle service to beaches and night markets. They also took us to see some of the beautiful attractions. Very relaxing, beautiful spa, and pool and great meals with many healthy options! I wished it was on the beach… But it wasn’t far.

Very clean rooms. They focus a lot on health so the meals and snacks were all healthy. They even gave us little treats each evening in our room. The gym was a good size. The gym closed at about 2000. Should be 24 hours so guests can work out whenever they get time. It's a bit of a walk to the main road and then u need a ride to get to the town center. We got scooters so it was easier to get to the town center.

The staff are amazing. Everyone does their job perfectly and everything works like clockwork. It says so much of the management. All staff know all the answers. The communication between departments is efficient and seamless. It adds to the relaxation not to have to explain and ask and follow up... The front desk, the spa, the cafe, the vitamin bar, the housekeeping - all look so professional in beautiful uniforms and it amazed me how they all knew my name from the first day. The consultants and instructors are all lovely too. I was impressed with the selection of the pillows and generally the quality of the robes and other linen. The food is so wholesome and tasty, portions are very generous. Often one instead of two dishes was more than enough for me. Drinks menu and quality at the Vitamin Bar are second to none. Therapists and nurses at the spa are very friendly and amazing at what they do. Front desk handle an overwhelming number of requests in a very polite and efficient manner. There is nothing I did not like. If there was something that could be improved on, I would say: - cleaning (or replacement?) of some of the tiled area in some spa room/s. - it would be nice to have comfortable seats or hammocks around the compound, so guests can have partial privacy inside the resort but outside of own room. The seating area between the yoga Sala and the spa is not comfortable to lounge around on. Other common areas to sit in are just the cafe and the bar.
