good vibes restaurant where everyday fire show and live music with beautiful bay view. The sea is not clear with many sharp stones and corals.

Front desk staff was awesome. Rooms were well equipped and as described on their website. Restaurant staff was a hit or miss - mostly issue with them understanding English or even coming by to take re-orders. We had to go to the main bar every time to get their attention. Service on the beach is non-existent. They no longer have a pool. The beach in front of the hotel is the worse part of the entire Choeng Mon beach - it is shallow 99% of the time and you can walk 100 m in the ocean and still be in 0.5 m deep waters. The best part of this beach is of the left sides of the bay. When there is heavy rain or the tide rises, you can spell sewer back up in their septic tank and throughout the room emanating from the bathroom. The staff sprays deodorizer when cleaning the room but this only masks the bad odor for a couple of hours. They did not have nightly entertainment every day as advertised. The loud music from the next door hotel/resort ( Pi ) can be heard throughout the property until 10pm daily.

location beach side is excellent. Restaurant is lovely - right on the sand. Food is good, staff great. Fire show on the beach most nights and we even swam with the bioluminescent plankton one night. Canoes are free for guests to use. The gentleman at reception was incredibly helpful and gave us all the info we needed for our stay. Very accommodating. It was a little run down. The rooms needed a bit of an upgrade and a deep clean. Couple of cobwebs and the wooden panelling looked tired. The swim pool was full of green dirty rain water - mozzies loved it. Rubbish (old boxes) from the restaurant/bar are stored in view of guests, being the pathway from my cabin to the restaurant. Considering the price we paid, one cannot complain about the rustic feel, but get rid of the rubbish and cobwebs please!

Next to beach the hotel is old, road into hotel half a kilometer of rough pothole Rd lost water for four hours . Very loud music for 5 hours next hotel many people complained.

Lots of tiny ants in our room on our most recent visit. We’ve stayed in the bungalows and the hotel and prefer the modern features of the hotel. The more we look around, the more it seems like the property used to be wonderful but has seen the wearing of time and not much is being done to restore or keep things up. The location is decent; walkable to many things but a 10 minute walk from the main drag. On our last visit we discovered (and loved!) Sol cafe. Overall, a good value!

Our room was huge! It was clean and comfortable. The swimming area was too rocky. Beach is sand, in the water is rocks.

Very nice room, we stayed at the top floor and had a very nice view from our balcony. Friendly staff and great cleaning upon request. Great location on beach, several restaurants and SevenEleven nearby. Kids loved the fireshow at the hotel restaurant. Would stay again!

Great vibes & surrounding for beach area. Live singing & fireworks show at night from resort. Outside resort not much shops, u need to walk a bit. Road going thru the resort is very rundown & dark at night. Restaurant food was nice & good presentable except the food delivery very dissapointed - slow and not in order, We have to wait one by one menu at our table , by the time meals come we just finish another meals and also meals getting cold since the waiting take time. Resort need to take note to improved this. We avoid eating there following days. Compliments to their staff - even not that friendly but they try their best to fulfill your request. Could do better for interior especially at lobby area - re arrange the place. Look abandon & thing just pile up, feel like in mid of renovation. Look s like the resort put effort on main thing - room cleaning, restaurant food (VERY SLOW SERVICE)
