Great location and staff; comfortable spacious room (we had Premium); excellent breakfast buffet and beach restaurant; esp enjoyed our daily yoga with Mui. It’s a huge resort, but not really 5 star compared to other 5 star properties on the island. Due for maintenance. Suited to families. Loads of kids. And weirdly, the swim up bar is located right next to kids club and water slide. Inadequate shade (small umbrellas) on the beach and around the pool, but we were able to retreat to the shaded gardens around the canal pool.

I stayed here solo and had a really great time, excellent value for a beachfront resort. The best part is definitely the lagoon pool that winds through the hotel grounds; it’s amazing for relaxing. The staff were all nice and friendly, and they made me feel super welcome. The rooms were lovely and roomy, and the beachfront location is pretty and peaceful. Breakfast had a good selection, and everything tasted high quality. Although my room was excellent, as it was on the ground floor, it could feel a bit dark at times.

There is no kids area and adults area. The kids were everywhere and there were no SPA facilities, jaccuzzi, ice bath, cold bath. The service by the pool and beach were not great, it takes a long time to get someone’s attention if you are on the beach beds. Also, the staff had a hard time opening a tab, its best if you sign to ur room.

It’s green and spacious. The bed is small. The pool was under maintenance.

Lagoon pool access rooms beautiful I love the position of the property. Everything else in the property was amazing. Fantastic help staff They were doing major works to the Infiniti pool which was out of their control but such a inconvenience also when you were sitting at the beach or you heard was construction work property is showing signs of age ageing and some maintenance is required We paid a premium for our room and didn’t get to use the infinity pool and only found out one day prior otherwise we would’ve cancelled this property and got a property with a pool

I would suggest the hotel consider introducing a clearer gym policy regarding filming and social media content creation. Some guests were using tripods to record content and were effectively occupying large parts of the gym for extended periods of time. This made the space uncomfortable and less accessible for other guests. The gym is a shared facility, and guests should be able to use it freely without worrying about being filmed or appearing on social media unintentionally. Clearer guidelines around filming and equipment setup in shared spaces would greatly improve the experience for everyone.

Every single detail of this property was just amazing. Hospitality, staff, food, location, sea, entertainment, cleaniness were hust oustanding. Yoga class in the morning. Breakfast buffet is just wow. Staff super friendly and smiling. Sea and beach are very nice. Nothing at all. Maybe just more complimentary shuttles.

Friendly staff, great location, great food Small room, tiny kids club, very old and not maintained pool, it’s logo is “soul matter” for some reason since we literally couldn’t not find anything special in Melia.

Everything, the staff are amazing! Rainbow and auto I will definitely remember you. The best hospitality! Great breakfast, pool, amazing beach! There's not a lot to do outside the hotel so most evenings we ended up taking taxis.

We had a fantastic stay at the Melia Hotel! We booked a room with pool access, which was perfect — especially convenient while our baby was sleeping. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The entire resort is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel like you’re in a peaceful jungle bubble. It’s also very family- and kid-friendly, and the cocktails were excellent! The only downsides were the mosquitoes around the rooms and that the hotel restaurant was quite expensive. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily return!
