First time I have stayed at this property with the new owners and what a change!! Rooms have been freshly renovated and were very clean. I loved the new beds - nice and comfy and also noticed the new couches and tables as well. I can see they are still completing some painting in the other rooms, and they said all will be completed in the next couple of weeks. The owner or staff which we spoke with were all lovely and very helpful. Close to the city centre, quiet at night - it was a lovely stay and will be coming back.

Location was central to city and we could walk in, staff were friendly. Unfortunately the bed was like lying on springs, it really needs to be replaced, we dreaded hoping in bed each night. Also the bed sheet had holes in it.

Nice and friendly owners. Handy to walk into town. Close to restaurants and bars. Room was warm and hardly heard traffic. Room was good. Bed was very firm. Could do with an update.

Handy location. Lovely Kiwi family that were very personable and friendly. Cosy room too. Lovely and clean How the shower leaked water. Door needs a bottom seal and the rose was facing the door. Not a good setup. But limited space so understandable. Recommend if possible a slide shower setup so the rose head can be angled away from directly at the door. (Sorry, I m in the Glazing industry and we install showers)
