The location is great. You’re close to almost everything. The hotel seriously needs a renovation. As soon as you enter you feel/smell the moisture and the carpet is very old, you don’t feel comfortable walking without slippers on..

Just minutes away from the metro. Quite a dated hotel. The bf was typical Chinese setting and menu with chopsticks as the only cutlery (at least we got to try eating water melon with it). Luckily there was no butter served to go with the buns, otherwise… Nevertheless, the Chinese food was the typical chaofen, porridge and noodle with the complements..quite good though. At least it gave a decent meal. Just beware, no coffee for bf. Try corn or yam drink instead. The staff are not too obliging in many ways, don’t be overly expectant.

Rooms smelled like smoke and kind of old. Took a day of having the ac running to get rid of smell. Very old style building. The dryer for laundry in the lobby did not dry much at all.

1.location is excellent as walking distance to MRT and Jiefangpei, surrounding by lot of restaurants, also near to a Starbucks, local supermarket and convenience shops. 2.Hotel room is big and very clean. 3. Free or breakfast with lot of variety to choose. Don’t have non- smoking room. Anyway hotel will perform smoke removal as requested.

Very close to Liberation Monument (Jiefangbei). We used the travel agency in the hotel to arrange two day tours plus our 8 day visit to Chengdu. Very satisfied and happy about it. Nothing

The hotel is excellent value for money, and the location is great. The hotel is within walking distance from the Food Street and Central Plaza, and the Linjiangmen station in Line Two connects very well with the airport and train station. This hotel offers a buffet breakfast, as they mainly receive Chinese tourists, but you are in China, so make sure to enjoy their cuisine, and you will do fine. When we visited in Dec 2024, they had fried rice, noodles, dumplings, sausage, noodles station, boiled eggs, fried eggs, cereal, bread, salad and fruits, juice, black tea and coffee. Make sure to download WeChat Pay and Baidu Maps to have data; you will need it for everything. As well as to write down the name of the hotel in Chinese. It's easy to locate because the street address is bilingual, but the main sign is only in Chinese. It's a fun experience. One important thing to know is that you can actually pay with your Visa or Mastercard for the hotel on arrival. You will notice that both cards are not used in other places, but this hotel accepts them, which we find very convenient. The rooms are perfect. Some people complain that rooms are a bit old, which is part of the charm of being in China. I will happily go back to the same hotel again. Here, I'm being picky, but the only thing we didn't like was the coffee for breakfast. My wife and I enjoy strong coffee in the mornings, mainly sugary machine-made. However, there are three coffee chains just 2 minute walk from the hotel, so there is nothing to worry about if you also like your coffee strong without sugar. Another thing is that it is still common for people to smoke in close spaces in China. So you will feel a bit of a cigarette smell in the corridors, but it's all good.

Very spacious room. It was great to have a coffee table and chairs to sit at for a few beers after a long day's walk. Fairly close to attractions and metro stations. Staff were friendly. A few of the features were a bit dated, but this was ok. Everything worked fine. It did take a bit of trying to get the wifi working, though.

Great location. Huge room was very comfortable however just a little dated but that was some of the charm. Good breakfast but not many western options. Small old TV . Bathroom needs updating.

Location The noise from construction nearby, old facilities, price does not match the hotel current state. Definitely needs an upgrade. One of the cleaners keeps insisting on coming to the room when we clearly said no and put up a DND sign. She came in when we went down for breakfast. Lastly the whole place is a smoking zone.
