About Relais Masseria Villa Cenci
Villa Cenci is an ancient farmhouse set on more than 32 acres of Apulian countryside. It offers an outdoor pool, an on-site restaurant, country views and free Wi-Fi and parking. Rooms at the Cenci Villa are found inside renovated 17-century Trulli, ancient coned houses typical of the area. Each one features air conditioning, modern furnishings, private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access. The farm's wide range of organic produce is a main feature in all the traditional meals prepared and served in the Villa Cenci restaurant. The Villa Cenci is located in the Itria Valley, just 6 miles from the Adriatic Sea. The Fasano safari zoo, the Grotte di Castellana caves and the cities of Ostuni and Alberobello are all within easy reach. License Number(s): BR074005014S0021120

Beautiful setting and grounds, pool was great too, restaurant food was very good. More a Wedding venue than a hotel but still very nice. Nothing.

The pool looked nice but we were unable to use it as it was not heated. The gardens were pretty at night with the lights. Sadly, it felt like the place had already closed for the season and we were there by mistake. For us, this was a wedding venue rather than somewhere for a family to stay. No indoor common areas to use such as lounges/a bar and the dining area is set up for large functions. Despite being told the bar would be open throughout our stay, I gave up after my third visit only to find it was closed, lights off and no staff anywhere to be seen. Our room was disappointing for the following reasons: (we stayed in one of the trulli rooms) - Strong smell of damp despite windows being left open 24/7 during our stay - There was a kettle but with no mugs/ coffee/milk and no socket to plug it in for use - Not enough lights - especially by the wardrobes which made it very difficult to sort clothes - Bathroom in need of maintenance: rusty shower head & areas of mold on tiling - Not enough electrical sockets to plug items such as phone chargers in (one by each bed needed for bedside light). We booked dinner for our first night and it was really very disappointing. Despite booking for 7.30pm we sat waiting in a deserted dining room for nearly 20 minutes before a member of staff arrived. The menu was limited and not at all child friendly. I found the dishes to be underwhelming both in terms of flavour, quality and presentation. The dining area itself felt more like a warehouse: awful bright lighting, next to no decoration/styling and uncomfortably cold. We ate out for the remainder of our stay as a result.

Not much... This is just an event hotel. Super expensive in terms of price/benefit matrix as personnel was quite rude even to kick us out from the pool. They put us in a room next to reception. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Place looks nice and thats it. Stuff was not polite only girl in the bar was trying to be nice other stuff showed that they didnt care about you just to get salary. Rooms were not so clean. Shower was broken, lights are not working. Parking is in front of resort but till room you have to walk maybe 200m on grawel so if you have heavy suitcase its not pleasent cause there is no one to help you with it. I have son that is 3years old and he took chips from the bar and one of the guys reach to me to tell me that my son is STEALING things from hotel. I know its not nice thing but you can not think that baby of 3years old is stealing is just that he is to young to know that he needs to pay, plus they know its my son and which room number I am so they know I would pay for it. My point is way of treating guest is not on the right level. Also, first day we arrived we were hungry so we ask can we order food and they said no kitchen is opening at 6pm(at that moment was 5pm). We said ok, so we wait. At 6 we asked for menu and they said kitchen is actually opening at 7:30pm so we waited one hour for no reason and we could get in that time somewhere else and eat but also they didnt really seem to care about it.

Everything was very good, very good experience of masseira stay

It is remote and silent Price to performance could be improved. Ambiance is not compatible with what has been shown on the photos and the amenities are poor quality. Our rooms, which were by the reception, were dated and far from what is reflected on the photos in terms of furniture design and the use of materials. We stayed at Borgo Canonica the past few days. It was an impeccable hotel and a great stay thanks to its well-designed rooms, top quality service and great sorroundings. Thinking we paid less to BC makes me want to go and compliment them more

Style. Modern but antique. great Pool. beautiful historic buildings. Early checkin. later checkout possible. lots of free parking. WiFi. we had some problems with hot water and aircon but they fixed them. The walkway from the car park to the reception needs a stone pathway. walking whilst dragging heavy suitcases is not good.
