B&B Trullo Barbagiullo

The owner was lovely! Super friendly and helpful and had great recommendations for restaurants around the area. The place is beautifully decorated and comfortable and the pool and grounds are amazing. The one thing to keep in mind is that there are only 2 Trulli rooms and the entrance for one is through the common area of the main house. The other rooms are lovely but if you're looking for an authentic Truli stay experience, just something to keep in mind. Was also nice to be in the countryside for quiet in between visiting all the different towns and areas nearby. After a long day of exploring, we didn't feel like heading out again for the evening for dinner. Would have been great to have a dinner option on location. But that also wasn't a big deal

Everything was perfect! An incredibly charming and cozy place. Although the host didn’t speak English, we managed to communicate just fine using Google Translate. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. An exceptional and memorable experience. The design of the trullos was adorable, the beautiful garden, the refreshing pool, the cute cats, the delicious breakfast and the admirable hospitality - a perfect getaway. There’s nothing negative to mention. However, it's important to note that the internet connection in the area is weak and the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach very far. On the bright side, this can be seen as a positive, allowing you to fully disconnect and take a break from the internet. :)

We had a beautiful 'Trullo' experience at Barbaguillo. It was a really authentic experience and we got a real sense of how it would have been 'back in the day'. The property has a beautiful swimming pool with lots of sun beds and chairs etc and beautiful gardens. There are two friendly cats, goats and two parrots! The property is situated in one of the most beautiful countryside areas of Puglia but is only 5/10 minutes to Cisternino town. Our host, Enza served us one of the most delicious breakfasts of our holiday, prepared with great care, attention and thougthfulness. The location was amazing, it was perfect for visting all the different villages in the area. Everyone at the Trullo was wonderful and made us and our one year old feel very welcome, the breakfast was perfect to start the day. Thank you so much for having us, we would highly recommend visiting here, especially if you are a family.

Staying in a trullo was an amazing experience.The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay overall. The bed could have been more comfy other than that everything was amazing.

It was very secluded and quiet in such great place. The pool area was perfect and the Trullos were do cozy and amazing. The staff did not speak much english but was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again. It could have better signs as we had difficulties to find the property.

Trullo Barbagiullo is an exceptional place to stay. It combines a stay in a traditional apulian trullo which is however conveniently furnished, with a comfortable joint living area/bar and a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. The B&B is family run with a truly family feel and care. To say that they are hospitable would be an understatement. They catered to our every need. Breakfast was exceptional and we also were able to get a luxurious poolside lunch. We already miss it and hope to come back one day.
