Murals Hostel & Cafe Mactan

The property is near to Gaisano mall and lots of shops nearby. Close to the airport. 7- eleven is at walking distance. The guy on the reception counter was rude and asked personal questions to my friend.

I like that it is very clean, staff are respectful, and simple breakfast is really nice. Happy to have spent the shared space alone. Kinda near the airport because it’s within the island, but really far from the city center. Also, there’s no more cafe on top of the building when I thought there was. And really limited food choices around, maybe because I stayed there during a Good Friday.

The location is very convenient, especially for travelers flying in or out of Cebu, as it is only a few minutes’ drive from Cebu Airport by Grab or GrabBike. There are also nearby shops and food options, making it easy to get what you need. Overall, Murals Mactan offers good value for the price, and I would recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay near the airport.

I didn't like that when I booked the standard room for 2 with a queen bed they didnt mention that you had to walk out to use the restroom and shower. And location is bad you have to walk quite a distance to get the main street with all the food places. The street to get to Main Street doesn't have a sidewalk, and you have to be looking out not to get run over.

Place was near the airport and had nearby grocery stalls, fast food chains, and easily accessible via public transport. They have a coworking space available 24 hrs for those working remotely. Security is good as well. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler.

It looked nice on booking.com & was cheap for a quick overnight stay! Didn’t actually get a chance to make it inside! It is very much hidden & hard to find even for our taxi driver. Once we arrived at night after contacting the hotel and saying our flight had been delayed, we were met with no one at the property to help us & let us in (even tho it says 24 hour service). The only way we could ask for help was from a neighbor who called for us, and we waited. And waited. And decided to get back in our taxi & crash at a hotel closer to the airport. I’m sure this place once you get there is fine, but if you’ve been traveling 20+ hours with your family and are exhausted and want something easy, I don’t recommend this place.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed was a little short. I'm tall and I couldn't extend my legs all the way.

Room was clean and it was unique

The personal is very helpful and nice, may and jinky are doing a good job and also the man working at night.

The door had a lock system which made a noise every time it was opened. I think it's good for safety but quite loud in the night with people coming and going.

Good people. But hoping they sell foods and coffee

Reall accessible to the airport. The staff are very accommodating that they let the group borrow a rice cooker so they can cook the noodles they brought. The room is clean as well as the comfort room even if it was shared. There were also complementary water and coffee. Not about the stay, but the other people staying there. A bit noisy with all the ruckus, drinking, and smoking. They did those in designated areas though, but they were still noisy even past midnight.
