The welcome reception was lovely, breakfast was amazing and the manager was so nice. I would stay here again for sure. Property is beautiful. We wish we could have stayed another night. My only wish is that A/C was offered but I know most of Europe does not have AC.

It was unique in its architecture and decor . A warm cozy feel . Beautiful grounds . We had enjoyable dining evening with great food to a birthday celebration. And we had fun afterwards in the pub.

Large room. Large bath. Nice public spaces. Close to but out of town. Friendly proprietor. Excellent breakfast.

The proprietor was a delight and the property incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was traditional and delicious. Nothing.

Amazing castle with stunning grounds that were beautiful to explore. They have a free wine and history talk every evening by the castle owner that was very interesting and fun. They took our picture that night and handed it to us when we checked out.

Great menu for both breakfast and dinner served by excellent staff who are well trained. Fish, meat and vegetables are locally sourced ( we asked the question) and the taste was incredible. Highly recommend the avocado toast for breakfast, salmon for dinner followed by mothers apple pie. Our stay was too short.

Dirty tap water.

What did we like?... Everything! This is our third time staying at Abbeyglen Castle. Everything was wonderful... The owners who checked on us regularily to make sure we were well pampered!; The location; The curtious, helpful staff; The convenient parking; The assistance of the Bellhops; The ease of checking in; The rooms are exceptional; The Lecture in the afternoon with Champagne!; The unbelievable dinner; The incredibly comfortable bed; and the Full Irish Breakfast the next morning...need I go on? Did I mention the view? I would never chose anywhere else when visiting Clifden, Co. Galway! We can't think of a thing!

Beautiful grounds, hotel and our large room was old design. Beds excellent I wish there was some food/snack options available between 3 & 7 pm when you arrive to purchase.

Stunning accommodation in a terrific location. Cozy fires blazing in all the public rooms. Great breakfast/dinner/pub. Loved that our triple was divided into a bedroom for 2 and a separate sitting room with a bed for our daughter. Nothing, really.
