I did not get any breakfast. Then told me that I may collect a coupon to eat from another hotel about 200 meters away from the property. I did not collect any coupon to walk and back such a distance in rain. Location only

Location is very close to the Lulu Mall and that’s it. Not super clean. Shower was broken. I thought of making a tea and the mugs were all dirty. I saw small cockroaches in the bathroom. It’s not a 5 star hotel but for 3k I expect half of the cleanliness at least.

The Hotel was right next to Lulu mall which made life so much easy. Staffs were also very warm and welcoming. The room and the property looked a bit shady and the furniture's added to that. Photos suggested totally different.

The reception. At first, they couldn't find our booking. The guy can hardly understand us. Never help with the request and just directly says No. The room wasn't ready when we arrived. We have to ask the bath towel for them to provide it.

Completely the property was not good to stay I recommend all to look some other hotel instead of Aura One as I booked this through booking.com and they took extra cash from me saying that they have commission

I have stayed at Aura more than a couple of times, and it is exceptional how accommodating the staff are. The location is great as it is just a minute's walk from Lulu Mall. Cleaner rooms and toilets with better cleaning products. Regular maintenance of the ACs. Hygiene of all staff at all times. Better air-conditioned reception and common areas. Proper training for all staff.

Should be max 1 star. Photos are not as per the reality. Bed sheets & Mattress are old, not comfortable at all. No daily cleaning. Had to change the hotel.

Apart from the location and proximity to Lulu Mall- Kochi, rest of the things are just a turndown. A big no for married couple who are looking for an affordable stay in kochi, my personal opinion is don’t choose this one. I landed bit early in Kochi Airport and called this Hotel if there is a possibility for early check-in if rooms are available as a goodwill gesture, they said it will be chargeable extra to the already agreed price. Early check cost they charged me was ₹1500/-. Also another big issue and hassle I faced while doing the registration was they asked for full payment in advance for my stay. I asked them you can block the amount and charge during the checkout as it is a procedure in any decent hotels in India or abroad, they said they can’t do that and would charge all-in in advance. The room that was provided looked different from what is shown on website, bathroom doors are either broken or damaged. Only 2 complimentary bottles of water was kept in our entire stay. So my point to them was in case we didn’t like the stay, and would like to do early checkout then I am paying unnecessarily extra and to this the front office staff didn’t had any answers. I found this hotel not very customer friendly and following certain rules which some age old lodge in 70s and 80s use to have in small rural Kerala. The whole stay experience was bad for me and my wife who had come on a short leisure trip to places around Kochi.
