The Scout INN offers accommodations in the heart of downtown Cody, Wyoming. All of our renovated rooms offer a private bathroom with hair dryer, air conditioning, microwave, refrigerators and free private parking. The Scout INN also provides laundry with ironing facility for our guests' convenience. The front desk hours are from 8:00am - 10:00pm. The nearest airport is Yellowstone Regional Airport 1.9 miles from the property. The East Gate to Yellowstone is 52 miles. All Cody has to offer is within walking distance from the property.

It was a very clean room, very modern and thank goodness for a/c!!! Super frustrating that even though I secured my room several months ago and paid full price, parking was set aside for motorcycles and I was forced to park in the dark away from the hotel. Apparently rally folk matter more than other customers. Orange cones were placed all along the front, well lit portions of the parking lot. Rude

Cody is adorable, this is right off the main road so your close to everything you need before heading into Yellowstone.

The accommodation is in a great location, clean and comfortable, with lovely little thoughtful touches and gifts. It would be nice to have a shelf in the bathroom for an extra roll of toilet paper. Unfortunately, there was only the single roll provided upon arrival for 4 people.

What a wonderful surprise!!! We checked in an hour early and were greeted pleasantly with the receptionist giving us all the info we needed. Our room was huge, totally unexpected, and such a perfect surprise. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet. Complimentary ear plugs, blindfolds, chapstick, glasses wipes and bottle opener were given. By reception, they kept chilled lemon water, free newspapers, muffins in the mornings, and a fridge with milk, apple juice, oj and bottled water—all complimentary. It was perfectly located at one end of the road to make pedestrian shopping easy. Best location! Our experience with the Scout Inn was a very, very pleasant one.

The rooms were clean and bartenders were great.

Sink is clogged. Very noisy. You can hear the sound of every step on the second floor. Bad smell. Staff is not kind. I think that booking.com is also responsible for that because this hotel has high ratings on booking.com website.

So, there was no elevator, the staff was wonderful! However, I travel for business, very low profile keep to myself. I had the tv on 30 two nights in a row the neighbor complained to turn the tv down. The tv was not loud, the issue where the walls were not built with sound proofing, sufficient enough to handle a simple tv. I felt the staff should have moved my neighbor, not scolded me like a child.

The ice machine out of order, Had to take ice bucket from the room across parking lot to the restaurant to get ice. Thee bed was horrible with huge divot to sleep in and the room was not clean...used coffee pod left on wilndow ledge/sill, trash/wrapper under tv stand. No elevator for handicap. At least manager said she would give us a credit, but it could take 2 weeks, still waiting on the credit to show up. Jana at the front desk was very nice!
