Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Downtown

The convience of walking a very short walk to the concert venue. The room was a very good size. The staff was very lack luster. The lady we asked that night sitting at the front desk about a pizza recommendation just looked at us and nodded. I don't think she had any idea what we was saying. The morning we checked out. Tracy went for coffee the lady asked if it was free or if she had to pay for it just smiled and nodded. Once again can these people speak English? The hotel has a Starbucks and other amminitys. NONE of which we was told about upon arrival. The door to the closet in the room was so close to the outside room door it was hard to get in and out of the room.

We stay at hotels and resorts all the time and this was by far the friendliest, caring and helpful staff my family and I have ever experienced. They went way above and beyond and made this the best experience we have ever had at a hotel!! We spent only 1 night and were treated better and more respected than all the high end resorts we’ve been too. The staff here deserves way more than a 5 star review!!!!

The hotel and location were great. The staff were less than friendly, really didn’t seem like they wanted to be there.

Location to Nationwide Arena No convenient parking available. Valet parking was full. Only one public parking garage available but we had to drive around for 30 minutes to find it The room must have been a previous smoking room. It had a musty smell Could not check out and they put a $50 hold on my credit card, took it off but still added it to my final total which I now have to dispute with my credit card company

The valet was only person in the front lobby went we got back to the hotel in the evening. To say that he was unhelpful would be a huge understatement. Other than trying to pry answers from him, it was a great stay

The customer service/valet were extremely awesome but we were sad that we had to pay for breakfast which was almost $40 for two people. I would suggest traveling outside of hotel to eat. We had to pay almost $40 for valet (24 hours) as well because there was no parking available close to hotel which was frustrating and the smell of the room was a very unpleasant to me. But it was convenient to our location and we were grateful to have a place to stay!

Exceptional

Location Parking we had two cars too expensive need parking for the price they charge you for room. No vending machines on floors.

This place was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so helpful clean and comfortable

The location and some but not most employees were very helpful example the bistro the employee refuse to make half the things on the limited menu. The wait for valet parking when arriving was unacceptable The cleanliness

The only thing that disappointed me was that the Bistro wasn't open at dinner time. Apparently the first shift had misplaced the key.

Pleasant

It was not convenient getting your luggage to the elevator since the main floor is a split level and the G and 1st floor you had to go up or down to get to an elevator. No access from main lobby.

The location is good, parking is non existent, don’t get a room on the first floor. The carpet in the hall is so pulled up I tripped and fell. The staff at the bistro is annoyed if you want anything. Won’t be back.
