Very nice and quiet place. We visited for a NASCAR trip!

The restaurant was a big reason why we chose to stay there and it was closed. We were not informed until we got there.

Breakfast was disappointing and the lack of a restaurant was disappointing. Not sure it was worth the price paid but NASCAR weekend allowed all the hotels in the area to increase their prices for their customers. The location is convenient to the Capitol Center/ Chubb Theater for events. This was our 2nd stay and the restaurant wasn’t open the last time we stayed due to renovations then. It worked as a last minute option but until the amenities improve I’m not sure I would book again.

The front desk staff were pleasant when we arrived, but our experience changed when we asked about the restaurant being closed. We had booked believing the restaurant was open, and it was one of the features that contributed to our impression of the hotel. We were never informed before our stay of the restaurant being closed and it stays online that the restaurant and bar are open. Unfortunately, the response to our concern was immediately defensive and unprofessional. We were even told that we could check out and stay at a Holiday Inn in a town 30 minutes away, which was particularly disappointing given the premium rate we had paid. The biggest issue was price. Our room was $800 per night but after investigating more after check out , we realize that all other nights and rooms were under $200 so why was our reservation $800. It was an old and dirty hotel and even the elevator was broken. We also found that the sheets in our room appeared as though they had already been slept in and stained, which is unacceptable at any hotel, let alone one charging $800 per night. Was this some sort of typo where the room should have been cheaper or new owners ripping people off.

This was an unplanned stay. We found it online and because it was close we stay. Got there minutes before midnight. Very cool old building but the elevator was out so we had to walk up to the 3dr floor and at that time of the night it wasn’t fun. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was just ok once I figured out the waffle maker. If I had to choose a place in the area again I’d stay here.

Pretty place. Clean. No working elevators but we didn’t need it, thankfully. Restaurant was not open. After a long day of travel, that would have been nice. Breakfast was more than plentiful. A bit better than a typical continental breakfast. One thing is the curtains did not close on a big window and I had to makeshift with something to pull them together best we could because the lights from the parking lot were bright. That’s the only thing about the room that was an issue. Staff was extremely nice and helpful making sure our party of four had towels and such without having to ask. Over all, for a one night stay on our way through New Hampshire, it was nice.

The staff were outstanding in helping us with a couple of requests on what was a very special day for us. Thank you.

Parking was great. Hard to believe that the elevator has been out of service as long as it has. I’m sure it’s a huge ADA violation.

The room was clean as usual; I have stayed here several times over the past few years. I really wish the restaurant/bar on-site would be open consistently (it's currently closed again). The elevator has been out of service for a while, and you have to use the emergency stairwell to get to the 3rd floor. Unfortunately for me, the room next door had 2 loud barking dogs; they would bark at any sound in the hallway. My first trip to the front desk was unhelpful about the dogs. In the morning at checkout, I reminded them about the barking dogs, and they apologized. Usually, the hotel is a bit better about noise; it's just frustrating when you are trying to get some sleep after a busy day.

Loved staying at The Centennial. Lovely neighborhood w parks, academics, restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and accommodating, even for folks traveling with dogs. Fresh coffee, pastries and yogurt for breakfast were delicious. Spacious room with crisp clean sheets. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful 9-day stay at The Centennial Hotel in August. The room was peaceful and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast and the coffee and tea available throughout the day. Truly a warm and memorable stay. 10/10 - Highly recommended!

Picking hair clumps off stone shower walls was bad. No elevator working for a long time (not mentioned in any ads). Pure cold continental breakfast. Waffles do NOT count as hot food. No restaurant or bar and "maybe October." You should do better with your description of amenities and building condition given your location and prices.

    Very good

Excellent staff. Beautiful hotel! Clean room. Loved the shower.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Charming front. Could use landscaping To much asphalt for a wonderful inn and no restaurant.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Staff was very helpful and accommodating when we needed help. Restaurant is currently closed. Breakfast was your normal. Continental breakfast. Room was great.

The owners have spent a small fortune renovating the hotel. The bathrooms are huge and well thought out. Compared to the chain hotels with the shower curtain over the miniature bathtub these are luxurious. The beds are great and the air conditioning is almost silent. Cookies are provided. Elevator repair and a dinner chef needs to be sorted. But then the price will be much higher I expect. For the moment it’s excellent value compared other Concord hotels.

It was very pretty and comfortable.

There was a cleanliness issue-a red gift string and something attached was left under the foot of the ottoman from a previous guest
