A very convenient hotel in the centre of Condom. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We didn't have time to use all the facilities but enjoyed a hearty breakfast. The rooms are on the small side but very clean and contained everything needed. We were touring on our bikes in the region and were grateful to have a safe place to leave them overnight. Nothing except perhaps extra pillows.

The gardens were very pretty. The swimming pool, although small, was a good temperature for active swimming. The room, although it had its faults, was a good size, and my handicapped wife was able to access the bathroom easily. Nobody at reception. No bell so my wife called out. A woman arrived to say we had to wait as she had to take orders and served drinks to a large table. She came back and thrusted a key at us but didn’t say where it was. My wife has limited walking ability so I went to find it. Thankfully after several minutes the chef came out and directed me. I went back to my wife. By this time the woman was back behind the desk. My wife had sent messages requesting access to the spa and a massage. This was why we went. The woman informed us that she never read messages and we should have rung. She told us that there was limited availability for the spa and none for the massage. We used the spa and gym on the first afternoon. The sauna was stone cold. The pool was nice and my wife swam short lengths. The room had problems. In order to use the fridge you had to block the wardrobe from use. That left no electric sockets for charging iPads etc. The television was tiny and you couldn’t use it and the kettle at the same time. The heater in the bathroom was busy. She said she’d look at it but my wife was in bed and exhausted and I didn’t want her to be disturbed. It wasn’t a double bed. It was two singles put together with a huge rift in between. Unfortunately the single bed nearest the bathroom which my wife was had to use was very soft and she suffered hugely during the night. The next morning we knew we couldn’t continue. I went after nine to say we were leaving. My wife tried to contact booking.com to request a free cancellation but it didn’t work. At check out the woman was hugely aggressive. She had staff problems and we needed to understand. We said we would pay one night but she left us sitting whilst she supposedly rang you. We decided to leave. She ran out like a mad woman with her acolyte threatening to call the gendarmerie. We again offered to pay the one night. She accepted. She cheated us on the bill but we were glad to be gone. My wife is still traumatised.

The lady at the reception was very accommodating and extremely friendly and helpful. The only drawback for me was that, at dinner, the "formule" that was ordered was charged at the individual courses rate. Also, the dessert had to be ordered at the start of the meal, even though I didn't know whether I'd be able to fit it in!

The rooms and bed were comfortable, the bed being large. The location was right next to the river with views of it, and the Cathedral from our window. The hotel had a lift, which was good for us with limited mobility. We took advantage of the private parking, which was behind a locked gate. There was a lovely big garden which would have been good to sit in during the summer months. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring not only Condom, but the interesting surrounding areas. Nothing

Overall a good place, but a little worn in areas. The breakfast was a bit sparse.

Breakfast was good but the breakfast staff would benefit from knowing where to find butter and eggs.

I was walking the Chemin St Jacques (started a couple days before) and had hurt my leg. I stayed in the hotel for three nights to try to get better. The people there were extremely sympathetic and helpful. Very kind. My room was nice and warm and very quiet, so I got good rest. I am definitely going to try the walk again sometime and I will go back to this hotel. My leg

A very smart, clean hotel with a lovely outside terrace for evening meals and drinks. During our stay, other family members came to stay at Le Continental to attend a family wedding at Du Chateau Frechou and the staff and receptionists were excellent and very helpful in accommodating them. Veronica on reception helped us out massively by helping to provide transport for ten family members at another house in the village to attend the wedding. She also helped my family when we came across some transport issues later in the day. Very helpful and patient staff. We really enjoyed our stay with you. We didn't have any complaints or issues.

We have stayed athis hotel before, and eaten there several times. The garden room we had this time was quite large, had air conditioning and good bathroom facilities, including towels. Dining in the garden is a great pleasure; however, the menu is fairly limited, and for a longer stay one might on occasion seek alternatives. The staff were helpful and at night the hotel was quiet. Free parking on the quay in front of the hotel was never difficult. As above, a more varied menu would be a bonis, although for a two-night stay this was not a problem.

Easy to find. Good restaurant.

Staff welcoming, friendly, efficient. Room was basic but equipped for your needs. Clean. Comfortable. Dinner was very good and affordable. Breakfast also good. I didn't get to talk with the beautiful, slim, dark haired girl who served at dinner and in reception
