Days Inn by Wyndham Cookeville

Friday afternoon, a 11 hour drive to visit family, looking forward to our stay at Days Inn was quickly discouraged when we opened our room it was musky, small and hot. The floors had cracks and not level. 1st NO cold water in the sink or bath tub, so we told the lady and she said she'll have them turn the main up in the utility room. Then 4 small pillows on a king size bed, went to the office and got 2 more. Well, problem solved. No, instructions on how to work the TV or the stations, but we'll manage. Saturday, the next morning, was the biggest disappointment. NO breakfast! Packages of stale donut hole and rice crispy treats and granola bars. The main reason for choosing Days Inn is because they serve breakfast. Every Days Inn we have ever stayed at has always had a smorgasbord type breakfast. We're very disappointed because now we have to go get food to take our morning medicine. At 9 am I went to the front desk and explained to the lady our plans had changed, because we had to head back home, and we would be checking out Sunday morning. She can't refund, 3rd party. Well we're definitely not going to allow this to ruin our trip so off we go to explore Cookeville. Saturday spent with family seeing the sights, ready to collapse head back to the hotel, no open parking in front of our room. So we parked 5 doors down and made the best of it, after all we're leaving Sunday. This is not a place I'd recommend staying. Next time I'll call the hotel in advance. Very disappointed.

Bare minimum- the booked reservation I purchased included “continental breakfast” but really it was a basket of granola bars. There were also visible disrepair in the room and spiders everywhere my teenagers chose to sleep on top of the covers with their own blankets. We were just passing through on a road trip but we would never stop here again.

Room was clean def needs to be updated a little more but over all it was quiet and the staff was very sweet!

I have slept in a lot of hotels in the last year cuz I've been on the road since May of 2025, and this hotel had the most comfortable bed I have slept in maybe in my life LOL for real God bless you all

Staff were all very nice. Pool had a padlock on the doors. Breakfast consisted of a cappuccino machine and a couple granola bars. No cereal or other options.

Turned water to take shower and ended up taking a room temperature shower, no hot water in shower after letting it run for 30 minutes but did have hot water in sink

Bare-bones accommodations, to say the least. No coffee pot in the room, no CLOSET in the room...only pegs on the wall for clothing to be hung up. NO hook on the bathroom door for your clothing as you shower. Only one bin for clothing.

Rooms were clean and renovated. Properly was clean as well and pool . Properly was close to everything .

It was good however the the floor in the room I had stayed in was uneven, you could feel a pipeline or something jutting up from the floor. Going into the bathroom the floor was dipping down in a small part where something heavy might have fallen at one point and busted the floor support. Aside from that the stay was nice and the staff was very helpful and polite and professional.

Located right next to the on ramp we needed the next morning. Clean comfortable. Friendly staff. Much more than we expected for the price. Nothing
