Amerian Cordoba

Staff was very nice and helpful The building urgently needs an update. This used to be a very nice hotel and for that chain (Amerian) I was expecting more.

Amazing location, easy to access most popular attractions in town, just walking distance. There is even a very popular and fancy shopping mall across the street. Breakfast was very simple, do not expect too much, but still it was very good quality of food. This was not a dealbreaker, but I would offer just a simple suggestion, and that is, a more professional approach when it comes to maintenance. You can see the traces of a refurbished building, and the mixed up of the modern and the old patched up and repaired with the same screws. You either go all new and modern, or remain old and classy, but if you decide to bundle, then make sure it looks professional.

Great! The bathroom

They charged me 200$ for a small laundry (four tee-shirts, a few pairs of socks and underwear). When I complained about the price, they told me "It is the client responsibility to check the price online". I did try to check the price prior to asking for the laundry but their wifi/website was too slow, so I gave up because I was in a rush to go to work, and just submitted my laundry. I would not have asked for a 200$ laundry if I could check the price. The manager refused to hear my complaint.

The hotel has a great location. The hotel was in a state of disrepair. The heating system did not function properly. My room temperature was between 26 and 28 at all times. The management could not control the temperature. The room was simply to hot an uncomfortable to stay in. I only spent time there at night to sleep and had to open the window and sleep with no blankets or covers to try to make it bearable. In addition the elevators did not work, so I had to access my 6th floor room via the steps. The hotel added an elevator security panel in which a code number needed to be entered in order for the elevators to be utilized. This security system was not functioning for my entire 3 day stay. Lastly, the hotel was extremenly old and tired in its appearance. This proprety should have been remodeled 10 years ago.

Ubicacion My stay at Amerian Park had a lot of problemas, here I list them: 1 . No answer to their local number 2. No answer to their 800 number 3. Room keys did not work 4 times 4. Because of this they changed my room 5. Reserving by Booking I requested parking and breakfest, but they do not have parking service. 6. Had to pay for breakfest 7. Flooring was old and weared out 8. Staff never apoligized for all the problems

Ian was extremely kind and went out of his way to help us even when off duty. He was understanding and patient and made our stay enjoyable when the language barrier hindered us. He acted in a very professional way and the hotel should be very proud of him. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean. We were moved twice to find a room where the air conditioning was effective and we gratefully accepted a room upgraded. Thanks again to Ian for his support. The lobby and restaurant were in a good condition but the room was in a poor state of repair i.e. the tap came off in our hand, the extraction fan was very noisy and held together with tape. Breakfast was good but no variety for eggs - no boiled or fried let alone an omelette.

The bed. The bathroom outdated and the sink was cracked. No coffee machine nor even coffee powder. Breakfast, simple, not enough for a so called 4 stars hotel 200 dólar a night.

Very comfortable. Staff nice, helpful and courteous. Great location.

Gym was soo basic, and it’s strange that a property of this type stills without having smart tv’s at the rooms.

Friendly staff, excellent food at restaurants

Room was clean and spacious, with a real desk to work on the laptop. Staff was kind, attentive and helpful. A lot of choices for breakfast. Good location to walk around the center of Cordoba. No real restaurants in the neighbourhood. Only fast food places and bakeries. Hotel has its own restaurant which serves an excellent breakfast, meanwhile we were not satisfied with dinner.
