I liked very much the staff The fact that beds don’t have curtains and make sounds every time you have to go there

Bathrooms were clean and the hostel uses WhatsApp making it easier to communicate. They tell guests that quiet hours start at 23h yet they don't abide by it. My last night they had music on until midnight and the lights on in the dining hall/living room. Those lights cause light to enter the rooms through the interior windows, and being it was already past midnight it was unpleasant. Not a restful stay. Wifi is unstable as the wifi would freeze often throughout the day. 4 wifi networks yet they all had the same issue. Not good for those who need to use laptops.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at this colorful, fun hostel. It is located not far from the bus station, a vibrant neighborhood, good food options. It has good Wi-Fi and activities. Excellent value! Credit card machine wasn’t working. Top bunk was a little hard to navigate with my old joints but nothing terrible.

So if you are over 6 feet tall, I’d choose the 4 bedroomed dorm. The cocktails from the rooftop bar were excellent too, and all staff really friendly and helpful. Nothing to dislike.

Nothing. The comunal spaces were dietary, not what you see on the pictures, loud, and not friendly people at the desk.

I had a really nice stay at Hostel Alvear. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the location is super convenient for exploring Córdoba. A big shoutout to Luis, one of the managers—he was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to assist me with some personal things I needed help with. His kindness made a big difference during my stay. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming hostel experience!

Volunteers were very nice. Staff were helpful when my phone was stolen. Staff posted me forgotten kindle to next hostel. Bed was comfortable. Rooftop is nice. Not the most social vibe. No curtains on bed.

I came across this hostel after another in Cordoba had given away my bed before I arrived, so this was a very last minute reservation, which the staff responded to in a timely manner. A good social atmosphere with a decent sized kitchen suitable for many people to cook at once. The staff were all very helpful. There wasn't a ladder up to the top bunk, so it was quite awkward climbing in and out of bed, however, the hostel staff allowed me to switch beds to a bottom bunk during my stay. There was only one bathroom with shower for guests in multiple dorms to share, so occasionally you had to wait a while to shower.

Staff were very helpful. Hostel was so clean. So far it was the cleanest hostel ( last month I stayed 8 hostels).

Nice place to stay if looking for something cheap and peaceful!

Epic building (old art nouveau palace of some kind). Great location. Staff are great. Its like a little community up here. Highly recommend it. They even have homemade empanadas and pizza (cheap!) when you dont wanna go out and frequent food parties on the rooftop patio (pizza, beer,fries, etc...) Nothing.

Great location just off the main square. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly, kind and helpful, they made our stay in Cordoba.
