Solea Mactan Resort and Waterpark

I like the Pool and the beach and the outside CR with AC They are not focusing on the convenient of their guest, they are given us a room with defective AC and we have to wait for their maintenance to report even I personally tell them the problem and requested to transfer to other room. They transfer us into other room but also has defective AC and still not cleaned, they transfer us 3 times. It's a waste of time and we checked in at 3 pm but settle our butt at already 5 pm

Not much. Noises coming from other rooms can be heard outside the room. Also, the room I stayed in was at the very corner but for some reason it's so smelly before I entered my room. I paid almost 8,000 php for one night but it was very disappointing compared to 6,000 php I paid for a one night stay at bai Hotel.

It has many swimming pools and the room is comfortable. The staffs are very accommodating They could have a convenience store inside, bakery available late at night. Elevators should be added.

Overall the facilities were very good. We at lunch and dinner there, Food was nice. Breakfast was fine also. It was quiet crowded in general, and the breakfast buffet was not well laid out resulting in long queues for certain items.

I like the swimming pool. I didn't like the breakfast buffet. Wish there were other restaurants open early morning.

Amenities and service The bathrooms need deep cleaning

I like the ambiance its homely, also the staff are welcoming. The bathroom at our room its not that clean when we first enter. It’s not that i don’t like, but i only suggest to put some Toilet near the beach.

The bidet in our room is not working properly.

Very nice location, just near CCLEX bridge. The room is very dirty and CR was stinky. Obviously one of the bed sheets wasnt replace with new sheets. The pool water was really dirty. We were given room at 6PM already.

Close to where I lived. I’ve stayed at this resort before and thought it was decent, which is why I decided to come back. Unfortunately, this recent stay was very disappointing. The check-in process was poor, and there was no notice or disclosure that the second-floor area was under construction. When we got to the elevator, the button for the second floor was taped over, so we accidentally pressed the third floor and later found out the second floor was inaccessible by elevator due to construction. We ended up using the stairs just to reach our room. The hallway leading to the room was dusty and noisy because of the ongoing construction. Once inside the room, it was still dusty and extremely hot. There was also no hand soap provided, which is a basic necessity that should already be available for guests. Considering I paid 8,000 pesos per night, the overall experience did not feel worth the price or up to resort standards. To make things worse, the breakfast buffet had very poor food selections. Overall, this stay was far below expectations compared to my previous visit.

The rooms were also dirty, old, and very hot, making it uncomfortable to relax. Even the elevators were extremely hot and not functioning properly most of the time. Overall, the facilities felt poorly maintained and outdated. The only good thing about this resort is the beach area, which was nice. But aside from that, the experience did not match the high price at all. Water park to cool off... Breakfast buffet was ok. Room was not ready upon check in. In which I had booked 2 months in advanced. I had to wait. I booked another room for my nephew so we have a room to chill right away after long trip. There was one available on a very corner of the other side of the building right next to a construction area. They have no washcloths available? Most foreigners showered with washcloths. I booked for garden view...I can only imagine! Vloggers are not being honest to everything...

The staff were excellent, great service and quickly addressed issues we had It is not being maintained very well sadly. The pools water level was lower than it was supposed to be, one of the pools was closed, and another pool was being torn up while we were there. Additionally the “garden view” is actually just a garbage view as you face a large pile of trash. The bathroom was also not maintained well and needed to be renovated a long time ago as it was becoming crusty and gross. The overhang off one of the roofs was also missing tiles and you could tell the property is falling i to disrepair.
