ibis Barcelona Cornella

The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean. There was plenty of space on the luggage bench, which is always nice when I travel with a large suitcase. The staff were overall friendly. The beds were pretty comfortable. The free parking was a huge benefit, and there was plenty of room in the lot. The rooms would be perfectly sufficient for the price in a colder season. The AC was horrible, which is a pretty important aspect in Barcelona in the summer. When I turned the AC up in our room it sounded like the spin cycle on a washing machine, but it was too hot to go without. The common areas felt like they didn't have AC at all, they were very hot and humid. It made me feel a bit queasy about the breakfast sitting there in the hot and humid air, combined with the fact that the breakfast area is right in the lobby with people coming and going, some with pets. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food, the circumstances just didn't make for a good experience.

Location: far from metro/train station, far from Barcelona city center. The train to reach Ibis Cornella increase the daily costs because you can not do correspondances with this specific train line, you always needs to pay an extra ticket. Hotel price: good hotel, but to expensive for the experience.

The windows were very good and isolated phonic very well. The matress was comfortable. The breakfast was good. An area with supermarket, food court and other stores was close by. The location is pretty far from the metro which is also far from the city center.

Bedroom was small

Close to airport. Lots of nice small places to eat around. Huge mall. Ample free parking. I had booked a queen bed with an extra twin bed. Room was on main floor. Rooms are extremely small. With 2 bags there was no place to walk around. Rooms are not updated. The train station to city is 10 min walk. Breakfast buffet was average with limited choices. No coffee or tea kettle in room. Very basic for the price I paid. AC was not turned on yet. So during day room would get very hot. Night we had to open windows. But there were mosquitoes. So check about AC before you book.

Breakfast was very good and fair price, a lot of variety. We had it on top of our reservation and it was a good choice. The bed was very comfortable! Parking available on site and location is great, short distance to the city center. Quite many rooms on the floor, one after the other and a little noisy. Overall it was great.

Breakfast and location. The hotel room had bed bugs as I am atill carrying the bite marks on my legs. They refused it blaming it on spiders but should it make me feel less worried? Their racist behaviors kinda told the stories about not caring much about the customer. For the value (about 300+ dollar per night) not worth it.

Very nice place!

Expensive for how far it is from the city center. No air conditioning because they have centralized heating which was on even though it was 20 degrees outside. It was very hot in the room and the only solution that they could give us was opening the window.

No comment it was for us perfect place?

Room was very clean. Breakfast was included and very good Would have liked coffee in the room as breakfast wasn’t until 630 and I was up before that.

breakfast No room on bathroom sink for toiletry bags. Shower stall is dangerously slippery. We had to lay a towel on the floor.

Breakfast not included, payed for two rooms because they won't accept family of 4 in same room; small rooms but overall it's everything ok
