Hard looking for parking , did not have any towels or rug or small hand towels in room , had to go ask for some and was only given a certain amount. The room when we walked in smelled like a man was just in there . The bed looked like it was laid on . The pool was closed which was a disappointment. The downstairs was so hot , when eating breakfast we were sweating . Wouldn’t recommend this place .

Hotel over all was dirty. Reserved 2 rooms and both rooms had dirty lien on bedding had to request clean bedding that I needed to change myself. Staff was quick to accommodate the request. Also no towels in room at check-in, this was a late checkin as well, so that shouldn’t have been an issue. Also pool was not open and looked dirty as well. Very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

Walked in my room it smelled all damp and moldy I just chalked up to old carpet.. no the ac system had the whole floor soaked found that out are I took off my shoes. Let the front desk know and apparently I wasn’t the first to tell them. Second room smelled the same as the first, tv didn’t work, checked over by the ac system mold everywhere on the walls and desk. Now I’m upset bc I’m having to change rooms for the a third time. Get to that room all looked good, tv had to be replaced bc it didn’t work and the bathroom light behind the mirror blinks like it would during a fire drill. The tv that was replaced would keep loading looking for wireless signal from the building, so no tv was being watched. The only good thing about this place was they tried to accommodate but failed at every turn. The property needs a major overhaul !! I wish I could upload the pictures bc this is only the half of it.

If you like taking nice relaxing showers this will not be the place for you. There is hardly any water pressure and the water that does come out doesn't even get the soap off of you. Very hot in lobby and dining area.

Dirty entrance, hallways, and rooms. Everywhere I looked there was stuff on the floors, walls and even the carpet in my room was soaked from the air conditioner. The light around the mirror in my bathroom only half worked. I woke up to a roach I. The bathroom and the phone didn’t work when I wanted to call room service. The pool was closed too. Overall just plain gross and terrible.

I don’t recommend this place. I was very disappointed with my stay. I didn’t expect to experience what I did. When I got to my room there were roaches & bugs at the entry way in the room & in the bathroom. The second lock to the door was broken and was told they couldn’t fix it. I was with my husband and 2 kids. I asked for a different room and they couldn’t love because they didn’t have another double. They offered to move me to two separate rooms but not conjoined because that wasn’t available but how was I going to be separated from my husband and kids. We were on a mini weekend vacation. Also the pool was broken. I checked in on a Friday. Was told it would be fixed the next day or possibly Sunday. And nothing was fixed. It was still down when I checked out. Was very upset because my kids and I were looking forward to pool time.

This hotel should be disenfranchised. We arrived on a Friday, checked in, and went to our room. At first, it was freezing cold. Ok. We went to the beach and when we returned to our hotel later in the day, the AC was not working. It was 76 degrees. Went down to the front desk and was informed that maintenance wouldn’t be back until 8:00 am or so, the next day. Asked if we could be moved to another room and was told that all the rooms were booked. At this time, the temp in the room was at 79 degrees. We had already paid for the room and had no choice but to tough it out. We asked the front desk for the name of the manager and was told she didn’t work on weekends. We asked for her phone number and the guy behind the front desk said he wasn’t going to speak with us anymore. At 5 am, the hotel fire alarm went off for no reason. The next morning, the girl at the front desk was friendlier than the night staff. She moved us to another room right away (8:30 am), texted the manager and asked if she could discount our 1st night. The manager approved a $20 discount which is unacceptable. No issues with the 2nd room. When checking out on Sunday, I asked the front desk clerk to confirm the discount. She said the hotel couldn’t give us a discount because we booked with a 3rd party (Expedia). In addition, the pool was closed and according to other reviews, has been closed for months. We have stayed at this hotel for many years and have not had these problems. I no longer recommend.

Where do I start, upon arrival they handed me keys to a DIRTY ROOM! The halls had a stench that smelled of marijuana (upper levels). The pool has been out of service since last year according to a frequent guest who stays on property. We didn’t have WiFi or Electricity for hours. The mattresses were stained. Bugs came up from the drains in the shower. I had to leave the property to get cleaning supplies to properly sanitize my room. I tried booking with surrounding properties but this particular week, everyone was booked to capacity! TRULY UPSETTING! The A/C unit leaked on the carpet continuously, which I’m sure has produce mildew and mold spores. A huge cockroach (TREE ROACH) greeted me once I came back from dinner one night during my stay. Our room 323 had mold on the walls. The pool was close. The back entrance door doesn't have a lock. Anyone can just come in out without the key card.

I liked the restaurant next door. Great food and awesome service. The breakfast was meh. Watered down eggs. Minimal selections. Too many guests not enough food. Ac not working in lobby and room. Pool wasn't available but not advertised on website. Looks like someone tried to break in and TV wasn't in first room switched to another room where ac wasn't working properly. Carpet throughout hotel was filthy including elevator carpet. Roach in room only 1 set of towels. Looked like a bloody booger was on the room wall. I told staff upon check out that I wanted a refund but they offered a 20$ credit. I was told to request through booking.com for a refund only got a 24$ credit.

The room itself was clean and ac was working well. We did need towels and toilet paper.The backdoor to the hotel didn’t lock, so I felt insecure. The breakfast was eggs and biscuits, no bacon or sausage. I believe the price was a little high for the quality.

Most the floors stunk of weed, the front staff wasn’t very helpful at all made us wait till they were done on their phones before helping us check in. The door lock did not work and they could not repair and with the right amount of force it would pop open, along with the air in room not working properly woke up sweating, the door to shower didn’t close properly so floor would get wet again staff would not help with problems had to ask multiple times for towels and was told that I could only get one even tho there was two of us would not suggest staying here

Where to start. The room was below average and the shower was really bad. No soap shelf nothing to steady yourself like a handle or bar the room smelled musky…. The pool has been out of order for months. The staff is very apologetic but this is the second time in 3 months I’ve stayed here so I could see my grandchildren and NO POOL IN THE SUMMER IN TEXAS!!!! 😡. There’s more but wow. Really bad.

When we went to our room we got greeted by a roach and the smell of mildew. I turned on the shower and it was burly dripping water. I looked at my husband and said we aint staying here. We all went downstairs and asked for refund. One of the reasons I had also booked our stay there was because they have a indoor pool we walked by it and it was closed, I guess it wasn't working either. We got our money back and booked at the Aloft. Will never book there again.
